Would I just post here to tell you guys what its about? [shrugs] I dunno, I mean, I'd love it if there would be people who were interested in my role play. I just have no idea how to work things over here. Its nothing like Gaia (which I don't really feel would be a good environment for my story).
i've never heard of Gaia, is that another writing site? and just post a big about it here i guess,, or make a new thread starting it up for yaself. i don't see why all PRG's have to be screened through Hulls, if there is a problem he will tell ya. just post it up i guess and see if people are interested.
Just run the idea by here, and we could give suggestions... Also: How long does it take for an RPG to get posted up, usually? I sent mine a few days ago, and I know Hulls has been on here plenty of times recently...does it really take that long to copy and paste some text, or am I missing a step? ('s probably me...)
i don't know Ivan,, just go ahead and post it yourself if ya want, what's the probs in doing that?? i bet Raven's is just a bit busy or has forgotten
Noo... Gaiaonline.com is a giant anime and role playing forum, but there are so many... illiterate people who think they can type, and its just... I mean, I don't even like anime anymore. Ehhh... I'd rather not just do it, since it seems he must have a reason for screening them... I can post the basic storyline and such here, I guess. --------------------------------- Introduction Welcome to Sarda: Darkness Rising. This roleplay is currently looking for 7 members. We are currently not open, as we are awaiting characters/members. For those of you who are a member of the roleplay, feel free to give me plot ideas, or point out things that don't make sense, and help me shape and refine this plot. Anyone else, feel free to watch us as we go, but plese don't post. Below you will find all the relevant information, and the links to match. All the material is copyright to Candice Wozniak, 2003 - 2007, and is not for commercial use, in part or in whole, except within this roleplay. Thank you, and lets move on. Explanations This RP takes place in a world that I created. This world exists in a series of stories called UnNamed (book one is fully complete, but I'm in the middle of rewriting it). The main story of this RP takes place on the Sarda Islands (In Erve. Sarda is the Faerie letter S) and is based around those kingdoms. Though it may spill over onto surrounding islands at times. For this RP, I'll accept 7 people (each member can have two characters), under a must be literate (that means proper punctuation, use capitals at the proper places, and so on... Basically, type like I do) requirement. The formatting will be done in Story Book Format, which means actions are typed out, and speaking is in quotation marks (also, thinking is done in italics), as such: A full blown explanation can be found here, regarding the Sarda Islands. Make sure you read it before you join the RP. A brief explanation is this: Basically, you can be a Sarda native, which means you can be of the dark-skinned, and usually light haired and fair-faced Kallan (kay-lahn) people; the tall, light skinned, deep eyed, and somber faced Tornian (tore-nee-ahn) people; the people of Isida (Ee-see-dah), who are dark as Kallan's, light as Tornian's, or somewhere in between, depending on the season they were born in (Summer is darkest, Autumn is light, Winter is lightest, and Spring is fairly tanned); Kordan's (core-dahn), who are the same as those born in Autumn on Isida, and dark haired, with bright, knowing eyes from birth; the fair-skinned and secretive people of Farna (fair-nah), of whom little is known, and less is seen; the veiled and hooded Snoroan's (Snow-row-ahns), whom shun outsiders; the Spallan's (spay-lahns), who do not allow any outsiders on their islands, unless that outsider knowns someone (which is really rare); the light skinned, and dark haired, fair faced, and kind Carsan's (cahr-sahns); the Sparan's (spare-ahns), who are wise, but small folk, who tend to be about the same skin tone as those Isidan's born in Spring, light hair, and bright, knowing eyes, from birth; the Chas (chase) people, who are the opposite of the Isidan's (Summer is lightest, Autumn is dark, Winter is darkest, and Spring is light); the people of Trisa (tree-za), who are everywhere from Kalla to Chas, and live in the four cities of Chis, Chan, Maina, and Kaieve (cheese, cha-un, may-nah, and ka-ee-v); Elve's; Fae; Anthro-Demons; Humans; Vampires; or Witches/Magicians. Plot The Islands natives are all becoming restless. More and more often they are coming from their smaller islands to the main land, arguing armonst themselves, buying, and often times looking just plain scared. The people in the market are worried that the Islanders, some of whom are more reclusive, and hate being seen, know something they don't. And that it might be really bad. Coriander, a navy-gray Wolf-demon who lives in the forest to the Southwest of the city of Chis, can smell something nasty brewing in the winds. He, and his wife, a feline demon named Harle, have begun to suspect something quite terrible will happen. Meanwhile there have been more and more political visits from the continent of Hundr Buma, to the west. The Queen has been coming from the Royale Mega Cities. The nature of these visits is unknown, but she's been spending a lot of time in the city of Chan. Why would Queen Hegunini be spending so much time out of her own country when the feeling's all around are those of darkness and forboding? Whats going on in the Sarda Islands? A group of people must overcome racial and religious barriers, and try to find out what is going on.
quater to 10 at night here. i will be heading off for bed soon i think, my sister kepy me awake most of the night last night
All RPGs must be PM'd to me first. Only I and Daniel have access to post new threads in the RPG forum. Anyone attempting to post will need moderation clearance first. or the post will just fail to be posted without Mod approval. Plus Sometimes it takes time before I reply regarding RPG game PMs because I get a lot of PMs everytime I log in. and RPG PMs are usually big PMs to read. So sorry folks It could take time. However I always reply to PMs so regarding RPG you will just have to be Patient. ~Raven.
Please do. Heather the simple answer if its not done that way we would have a lot of RPGs and i mean more than we could handle and none been played. It happed last year on Warseer and they ended up with an RPG similar to ours now. Sorry Heather but it works this way. Besides you know me And im fair.
Ok folks we have a fair few games still active but abscent from posts. Hiver Wars Biohazard Burning Cities Star Wars RPG Jedi Dimension Fusion - The Time To Act Vampire: The Masquerade RPG Chronicles: Damocles Gulf The games can only continue if you commit to play thank you. Anyone wishing to produce a new game may post a new thread but will have to wait for approval by myself or Admin. Thanks ~Raven.
I just posted something yesterday so I just wanted to know if u got around to reading it.(I'm sorry, I read this AFTER I submitted my post)
You don't post it. You pm Raven with your game idea, he reads it over and then he posts it or tells you what the problem is.
You send the PM and don't post it. Any attempts at starting a thread will just end up vanishing. So send the PM with all the info you would include on the opening post, and wait for Raven to look it over.
Ok Raven is away at the moment and I have noticed that the RPG's haven't been posted in for a week now. Come on people I know that Raven got these started and generally runs them, but if we want to be a part of all of this we have to lend a helping hand or everything will come to a grinding halt once more. Stop leaving everything up to the mods and poor Raven and start doing things for yourselves. (I know that sounds harsh but there are plenty of members here and we are all more than capable of keeping things going while a few other members are absent) It would be a real shame for all of Hulls Raven's work to get the RPG's like everyone wanted up and running and for us to bring them to a grinding halt and not used again. So lets get this back into action and start using the RPG forum again.
