I would advise with Crystan you do two games before thinking in the persistant realm. I like what you've created with Crystan but I feel you need to introduce people to the world in a few stand off RPGs.

This is the place I use to post at sort of. We have moved from G4 Forums all around for the last 4 or 5 years. I am trying to get them to come to WF and RP here. Since we are trying to do the Persistent World thing. Which is where my friends and I started. Hopefully THAT TAVERN will be the Tavern here.

 

Yep we need some more going on in the forums. Continent is going quiet for the week, 51 was halted and ancient legend never took off. So despite expecting to be busy RPing looks like i wont be haha.

Maybe i should work on my own RP idea or fiction or actually do some work for my upcoming exams god forbid lol

oh just a minor note to Teele or Raven the current RPG thread has removed Choas Hour from future RPG's but not put it in Current saying its open for profiles.

I say, as a persistant world kinda game, we can just create a city. The City (tentative name) will be open to any character and will be set in the current time. Characters can interact, get jobs, run for office or do whatever they want. What do you guys think?

 

I like the idea of having an entire fantasy world to mess around in. The way it sounds too me we could each create our own cities on Third Earth and so could each help shape what the world would be like.

But, I'm sure at first there would be just one city developed.

 

I have a spare SCi-fi/fantasy city if anyone wants it Hope City it's called vampires demons and so on

Or we could start a thread in the discussion section and all put our heads together

 

First off I want to test Third Earth out first. We have lots of Sci Fi and stuff on those lines but we have lacked in Fantasy realm. And way back when I originally created Third Earth it proved popular even though the forum was low on members back then.

Both myself and Teele will be GMing the Third Earth World.

Now if its a hit I will open a thread called World Builder where you guys will totally create the new one. Then we will have Third Earth which will be fantasy and we can have a Sci Fi style one. But it will be after Xmas when I open the world builder thread for that. More details will come as we kick start this project.

Ah Gloom if memory serves me well you had a big part in Third Earth II:

We have lots of combat. Rybok opens on the 20th the prequel story to that game is almost finished well half way done.

I need to work a little on Third Earth and share the concept with Teele so he's 100% in the picture and I want to see the project done right so it's not going to be overnight but it will hopefully begin before xmas. I need to draw maps and upload the image. Well thats something I'll be talking through with Teele in the week.

 

If you want any extra hands which I doubt because Teele and yourself are super RPG makers, I'm about and free all through december and January

You know, another world that would be good for persistant rpging is Foxee's game, Phoenix Colony.

 

Hmm...depends on the characters and players, really. Once we got into the epiloguing it could easily have carried on that way.
