ATTENTION ALL LURKERS AND NEWCOMERS! The Orb of Pyritus just started its second chapter. All of the previous characters will be entering a new setting with a new challenge ahead of them as teleporting space pilot Pyree Lasstor tries to maintain control of the Orb. This is THE BEST time to join the game! Please hop through the nearest portal and join the hunt for the Orb!
That in itself has become its own story, in many ways it's like Soul Calibur, and seeing suggestions on here, if a superhero pops, up I'm down as a villain - My Raphael/Jim Cross shadow manifestion should give a sufficient challenge, baring in mind the character is dying.
So I've been fostering my RP idea for some time now, and I think it's ready to start development. Does the idea of anthropomorphic animals still appeal to people? I'd like to know, before I finish the template. Also, there would be limited spots, so I'll say that in advance. (About five writers, maybe less.) I'll confirm the number of spots in the template. So there's the line, any nibbles?
Sorry, haven't really checked this in a while. Yes, I submitted the superhero RPG. Felt like the SWAT one would take a bit more research than I have time for right now.
MrMr and I have been talking about an interesting idea to throw into the superhero RPG when it gets rolling. *shhh* It's a surprise.
Oooh, I might have to join just because of that! lol Is the Superhero RPG going to have secret identities, clever names, costumes, the whole get-up?
I don't want too many villains guys... This is supposed to be a superhero RPG. It would sort of defeat the purpose if the only people fighting are the players.
Hey everyone, the superhero game, "the Atlantians," is now up! Hoping to get a host of players to defend New Atlantis!!!
At the minute there's only two... otherwise I may use another character from a different book of mine, but which one? One wonders.
Hi all! So I've been around for a little while now, and participated in multiple RPGs. I've had many moments where I had wanted to start one of my own, but wasn't sure if I was quite ready to do so. I'm still unsure, but I think that it'd be a good idea to at least give it a try. Seeing as many of the popular RPGs have started to slow down, I figured that this would be as best a time as any to start up a new one. Currently, I have two rough ideas in mind, and I want to see if I can get an opinion on whether they'd be good ideas or not. - An RPG in a fantasy setting; monsters, magic, a variety of interesting races and places. That kind of stuff. Although there have been some fantasy games thrown around, I think they've mostly died down. This game will take place in a setting threatened by ancient powers, which intend to destroy the known world. - This next one is a brand new (experimental, if you will) idea, and it's hard to explain without going into lots of detail, so bear with me here: An RPG which takes place in a dream-like setting, where characters will be playing lucid dreamers in one big dream-world. Like in dreams, the world won't follow the laws of physics like it does in the real world, and characters will have to deal with very interesting obstacles. (Think Inception) Would anyone be interested? If so, I can give a larger, more in-depth description of each idea. Thanks.
