LTW just a point on your 'random rpg' idea. We had something similar a while back. It descended into chaos then just stopped. It did sort of work though, but you do get some self elected GMs.

I think I found a solution to that problem...hopefully It won't be completly random. There will some sort of a point so we have some sort of goal.

LTW and I are working out the details of the 'random game' now.

As to my super powers, they actually came before I joined the Writing Forums and have a great deal to do with my being stripped of my physical body and having my consciousness locked in this infernal server. The ability to create and destroy entire worlds tends to make others a bit nervous...

My goodness gracious! Do you know how hard it is to come up with a baseline that won't control the story and yet give a foundation to build off of; especially when there are other dimensions involved.
Maybe I'm over thinking it.

 

Maybe you are, I like the idea you sent me. How about simply starting off in a world that you, as GM, devise and allow players to come to that world by whatever means they devise. Have a little episode, then decide where or what dimension to go to for the next episode. You can keep the plot concept you devised, but not restrict the game to it if the other players want to take it a different direction.

It'd be something like Orb but with a flexible goals and plots.

You could also take a look at the original inspiration for our Orb of Pyritus game, which lies dusty HERE.

(Has anyone ever noticed the 'Pyrite' in the name?)

I think that just having a base world and everyone goes there would be a good way to start! If this takes off i will be so happy!

 

Did now that you mentioned it, Lost. Always read the title as "Pie-ree-tus" and didn't make the connection to fools gold. Guess that means the prospectors went for the wrong stuff all along.

 

Speaking of my powers, a new world was just opened up for your exploration and adventure!

By the way, since a time I've been developing an RP that mimics the system of an RPG videogame, turn based. Well it hasn't worked on other forums, and I'm still to new to be posting it here. Yet I would be happy if anyone could check the reglament I made and give me their opinion

Well because I saw your thread, I remembered my old game, yet I really don't need ideas, as it's already developed, thanks anyway.
What I would like is to receive the opinion of the people here.

 

Let's get this random RPG started... I have a hilarious character idea! ^^

 

I seem to remember giving LTW the pre-approval on the game she was talking about, but haven't seen it posted yet. Maybe she's waiting since some of the other games are so Hot right now.

Also, we've been consistently rocking the top poster count. Our next step in world domination is to do the same with the 'hottest threads' count.
