General Interest Inquiry: With "It Began in a Tavern" being a sprawling epic on course to being a full novel (or longer) in length, I've been itching for a smaller, more contained project. Would anyone be interested in doing another round-robin roleplay? I'm thinking something more contemporary / less genre defined, and with a goal of being more short-story or novella length?
Yes! I would be. How I would suggest making it smaller is pre-making characters for the players. Also, making a setting very defined. That way, it's harder for the players to run wild. (I love it, though.) So yeah! I would love to see this happen and would be pleased to participate.
Between the roleplay here, and one I am involved in on WF.com, I think that's enough to keep my busy, but thanks for the invite.
@SoulFire, let me know if you would like help organizing or brainstorming ideas. If I were you, I would do a Stormy Night Murder mystery. Possibly shorter and contained.
Hm... I'm skeptical on doing mystery as a round-robin given how much planning or revision is necessary to make it feel rewarding. I'll have to think on it more to see what sort of genre I'd want to go for. I am fond of horror like EFMingo was going to do before...
Yes, please take your time. I would love for you to start your own game. It would be awesome! Let me know how I can help.
