Romantic Fantasy RP Discussion Thread

I figured our GM would have moved us there today, but he didn't. Who knows when we'll be arriving. Hopefully soon. Not much more that the 5 of us can do until we get there.

 

Great, well still working on my character, so I'll post her tomorrow. But for FYI purposes, she'll be a female wood elf. Rangerish type who is good with a bow and has some light healing and basic nature realm magic.

She'll be sassy and think humans are beneath her. *grins*

Watchmen, will you be advancing the game at all? James is the leader of the group, he should be leading us to the encampment. You can simply post a time advancement and have us arrive. It's getting stagnant!!!

 

yup...it could die before its barely begun if the GM doesnt do something.

 

I think I'll wait to post my char sheet until I see that the story is going to continue. :0)

Update - I do have internet here in Michigan, but not much time. I'll check these threads as often as possible, and I hope I'll have time to get on at least a few times a day.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but the RP will be closing soon. I just can't hand more then two RPs, so I'm sorry for not being here. Hopefully future RP's can be better lead.

Newcomer

Umm, hey guys!
You all probably don't know me, but I'm a relative newcomer to the site, and to this style of roleplaying (I've done classic DnD type before). I looked at the list of open RPs on this thread, found this one and thought "Whoa. That'd be great!" Alas, the spots seemed all to be taken. Then it was mentioned that more characters would be introduced and my hope grew; until I found that the thread had been closed.
Too bad, because this was shaping up to be a great story, I think. If anyone has a similar idea that they wanna try and GM, just PM me and I'll probably join. As said, I have little experience in this type of roleplaying, but I've been a writer for a long time now.
Finally, (and I say this tentatively) if Watchmen is cool with it, and if I find the time, and get some experience, I MIGHT (keyword MIGHT) be interested in taking over GMship of this thread in September. Again, it depends on several delicate factors.
Anyway, there's my rant! Lemme know what you think.
