Happy? Also, the hologram is an interactive map. I'd like to provide the explanation, though I'll explain here before anyone gets carried away: The map shows a hollowed-out view of the entire asteroid. The outer parts are lined with many, many hallways (both up and down) to provide unseen transportation for the contestants. Deeper in the asteroid are hundreds of rooms, most of which are arenas. The largest room in the asteroid, dominating the center and spanning well over a mile in all three directions, is the central arena. The "You are here" dot is somewhere near the bottom, near the entrance. As you guys approach the map, a "You need to be here" dot appears in a gym-sized room somewhere not too far away.
didnt notice that you posted before me. I'll go ahead and edit that in. thought you might want to do it since its your asteroid.
e-e-edited BTW, we both posted at about the same time. I probably only beat you by seconds. Also, LOLOLOLOLOLOL: http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Bloodninja/logs Also, pretty NSFW.
Tim continued onward, ignoring the directions the incredibly annoying worker was giving out, he wondered if she could turn into a robot and shut her off. He chuckled inwardly at the thought. ... Thanks a hell of a lot DB. xD I hope Quoten blasts your character with his pistol. *Sticks out tongue in the same fashion a four year old would.* Naw, s'all good. Good line, though. One of my favorites. It made me laugh. *shrug* x]
Shall we move on to the next room? Anyone wanna do the description for it? Abc? Know how you love doing setting descriptions. I'll go for it if no one else wants to. x]
I'm doing the description right now. I started it a few hours ago when I posted that last post, but I had to go to the dentist. It'll be done soon. EDIT: Actually, I was planning on having my post end with you guys heading over to the training area with a completely disabled Tim who had been introduced to the reason why successful break-outs are an extremely rare event. I suppose I could make the description of the training area if you want, but I don't like making my posts too long. Really, all I have planned for the training area is that they'll test your abilities in a virtual reality.
Oh! NOICE! IT'S LIKE ENDER'S GAME! And aight. Sounds good. Go crazy with that description. (On a bit of a late note, I hope you enjoyed yourself at the dentist. xD)
yay fighting! i really am bored with this registration stuff. we need a time skip. (Tim and company proceed with registration until they arrive in the arena [or are split up and arrive in separate arenas]
You could deny the guard's order, but you'd suffer the same fate as Tim. It would give me a nice chance to explain what happens when one of those things hit you, though.
HA! There yah go Tim. That's what you get for dissin' Demosthenes. ;] Oy, Abc... Where exactly IS the 'you need to be here' place. ; Wouldn't want to get, y'know... 'rodded' by accidentally going somewhere we're not supposed to go to. Is it the VR place next?
Right next to the entrance. Just say you're going there and, with the power of writing, you'll magically get there. Yes, you're going to the training room for a skill assessment, then you'll proceed to the appropriate level of training. If no one likes the training exercises then we'll just skip through them with a short cut-scene, then get to the REAL action.
just a touch confused. 1. Where are we supposed to go? We were going where we were supposed to when DB got zapped. Do we go to the end of the line? 2. Does DB need any medical assistance? Is he supposed to not have a heart beat? 3. What kind of skills test do we mean? Just strength and agility or special techniques? because id rather not reveal Abraxas's special weapon until the actual fighting.
1. DB is fine now, thanks to his inner daemons 2. Hope that wasn't too extreme 3. don't mess with a 1,000 year old daemon hunter
He's a daemon hunter with daemons inside of him. xD Well, if you ask me, I think Tim could've used a little more time in shocky-rod purgatory. ;] Naw. That was kinda cool. Is Tim going to pretty much demolish his way through this thing? xD
you could say that. He's like Dante from Devil May Cry, a half demon who's a demon hunter. The only difference is that he is possessed by demons.
probably just for sport, but I'll think of a better reason. P.S. sorry for being so mean to Demos in my last post, but that's how Aziral acts.
I should've explained the control-sticks more BEFORE I went off and did other stuff... Those actually aren't shocky-sticks, they don't electrocute you. Instead, they completely and utter shut down ALL known thought processes, except for the ones which register pain and those which memorize that pain. The no heart beat was normal, as ALL thought processes means both conscious and sub-conscious. The rod also has an option for how long it'll be before the victim is revived, from 5 minutes to never (They have special facilities to revive you if it turns out they don't want you dead or someone makes a mistake/miscalculation, but if they don't, you'd die a slow, agonizing death of pure pain). But it's too late for that now... Also, by all, I mean ALL, demon, daemon, human, or whatever. Also, the test is simply an overall combat test to see how you'd fare against a real opponent.
