Here's a fun challenge if anyone is up to it: Write a three-word poem or a thee-sentence story, with 3 words each. I'll start with a poem and a story: Poem Story
Ay @Thomas Kitchen Fancy a chat tomorrow afternoon. Not bad on the story btw. @BillC Nice story, that one is really funny!
@Andrae Smith - Sure, but do you mean your afternoon or my afternoon? Thanks for the compliment, but I know my story sucks (I'm not as clever as you lot). I prefer writing novels.
@Thomas Kitchen That is a good question. 0_0 Well hows about the next time we're both on after Tuesday (exam that day and I'll be studying up to the exam) @erebh You, sir, have a good eye for humor! I found it funny as it is, but I like your suggestion. Here's are a couple more:
I did a quick Google search, and I from what I found it should be lie, as in to "lie down" it would be lay, if I were laying down a book, or something similar. But I guess you're right because it is in the past tense. It should be lay.
http://www.chompchomp.com/handouts/irregularrules02.pdf That chart pretty much solves the problem, but I found the whole doc sorta intresting (I'm a grammar nerd sometimes ) And would "HarleyQ" be short for Harley Quinn? (please say yes!) lol
interesting story, but it kinda breaks the 3 sentence 3 word limit... i'll take any structure, really, but no more than 9 words though lol.
