    Save and Safe

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by CommonGoods, Jan 22, 2009.

So yeah, what the hell is the difference between the two; Save and Safe?

    Damn, short post.

Save means take someone/thing from danger.

Safe means someone/thing is out of danger.

For a quick and dirty explanation of one aspect of the meanings. Sure someone else can go more in-depth.

There are more definitions of course...

Save - verb (So, did you save the day?)

Safe - adjective or noun (I keep my things safe in a safe.)
