Trapped in the body of and extremely butch lesbian? You've told that one before... lol Jess, you tell him!
Pheonix: Bastard! Siding with women in picking on the only other male here. Its a conspiracy!
Ya'll make me laugh. I'm also going to say good night. Fritz and Avalyn shall make their grand appearance in the 'morrow!
No prob. Just do a character and PM it to me. Won't be until more late, so I won't give you a quick reply
Change of plans. I was gonna wait 'till Keitsumah appeared But I'm gonna do a post today (not a big one though) Thing is that I'll probably be without internet for around 5 days as I'm moving to another department
My current house is cold and filled with bugs everywhere The other day I found two spiders on the bathroom.
Asune: You scared of bugs? I get bugs where I'm located to but that's because my window is always opened. So I sort of end up always throwing them out (I don't kill them)
Asune: Ah I see. Anyway.......I'm a guess that your fav Togashi character is from HxH as opposed to YYH.
Mmmm never thought on who may be my favourite... Perhaps Shinobu Sensui or simply Yusuke Urameshi from YYH. Certainly Chrollo Lucifer or Hisoka from HxH And well Chrollo has resemblances to Sensui
I like this guy the best For HxH Oh also I tried to get Jess to watch YYH. I'm not sure how far she got though.
I told Jess to watch HxH in the future though I like both works I think that HxH has a different feeling from other shonens. I mean in most shonen a bad guy appears with a gang of minions, the good guys defeat the minions and then MC fight against bad guy who gives a lesson to MC. But them MC revamps and defeats bad guy out of pure willpower (woah I think I described 90% of shonen perfectly). This doesn't happen in HxH. Battles are more strategic, for example when the team took on Genei Ryodan, they didn't went defeating all members, instead use strategic moves to go directly to the leader, against the one they didn't even fought. It really revolved more around psychological stuff. And seriously this arc is just too awesome being as like that. In fact the only arc that somehow follows the shonen rule is Greed Island, and is still better than other's shonen arc, the bad guy was defeated out of pure strategy. Regarding YYH, although it follows the shonen rule. Characters are just too well done, the development makes the series very interesting. Also motivations although a bit cliche sometimes are thousand times more interesting that what you would found on Naruto or Fairy Tail for example. And also Kuwabara is awesome, he is a real man
Yep he is a real man! But yeah I get what your saying. HxH has a formula has a lot of shonen's should take note of. I mean because a lot of shonen have good potential and concepts. But it sort of becomes pointless once it gets in that same old formula. Get what I'm saying? I'll bet you the Bleach novel Narita wrote is better then the Bleach series itself. That's not saying much but I wouldn't doubt it. Hey!!!! I just got an awesome idea. What if there was a shonen and in the first 3 chapters this happen. They introduce the main character and make him as cliche as possible. He goes off on a journey. Fights an epic villain and then loses. He then trains and comes back stronger. But then the villain just kills him (Like in two seconds during their rematch), the hero boy never comes back and the villain becomes the main character............ Would you read that shonen?
