Not necessarily. Thomas is pretty drained, Malefius has used a lot of magic, Mordin is 11 and Marcus' use of powers doesn't always go to plan (all admitted by the authors; I made nothing up).
We probably have enough manpower (and woman-power, and boy-power, and servantgirl-power, and kitten-power, etc) to move the wagon without magic. Put your back into it!
Mordin is probably going to be the smart mage who doesn't rely on powerful magic but on using a few magical tricks to alter the environment to his advantage. Letting a few twigs snap in the distance to distract a guard instead and move around him of casting an inferno and burning him, something like that.
We should have them interact. I am just fantasising way ahead, but perhaps Marcus could replace the not sopretty memories that Mordin has of his older brother.
Did you use your thumb? It's a common mistake to– your thumb has its own pulse, so if you use your thumb you're most likely feeling your thumb's pulse. Also, sorry for my absence, and I'm afraid I probably won't be able to post until after this weekend (the IRLz call). Should the vote not be decided yet, Key votes yes. A chivalrous knight can never leave behind a civilian in need.
Post your responses and reactions! Collab together if you wish, in fact I recommend it! Ultimately the group needs to try and convince the Elf woman that Highguard has fallen. And finally, Sorrow is a term used by Sun Elves against those in their own race that have dark hair. It's a derogatory term that just sums up a person as low, unlucky and an omen.
TR-TR-TR-TRIPLE POST!!! MU-MU-MU-MULTI KILL!!!! Sorry about that I'm off to the land of nod, I look forward to reading all your posts tomorrow morning! Should get a Game Update soon, plus a Hanavar History Lesson: Three Rings Edition! Watch this space! Night all! ~Fox
Do our characters still have all their stuff, or were any of their items (presumably weapons, but possibly more) confiscated?
Game Update Hi all! The weekend is over, so it’s back to the world of Hanavar! So… our heroes find themselves captured by a band of sun elves that were able to escape from the recent tyranny in Darn. Rather than sit on their laurels, the elves plan to save their brothers and sisters and overthrow the regime. But with the threat of the dreaded red eyed army looming over them like a storm, the heroes must either convince the elves to take them to the council to prepare a defence, or try to join the elves in their attack to take Darn and then prepare after. Aerys and Helias might not be convinced, but there are many other elves in the refugee camp. Perhaps you can talk to them or group them together and convince them to take you to the council or let you join their attack. I’m allowing you to create one Sun Elf NPC each to converse with and leave it up to you on their personalities and whether they are influenced by your argument. But different players may convince their NPCs to support another action. For example: One character convinces their NPC to take them on the attack, while another character persuades their NPC to take them to the council. At the end of all the dialogues, I will count up the majority decision and then we will go from there. It would be even better if you could collab together and try to persuade NPCs, or perhaps conflict with the other writer on the decision. I look forward to reading your posts!
So Isen keeps to himself but he could likely be convinced to help out, especially with being fluent in elvish. If anyone's characters would be interested in trying to utilize him let me know and we can do a collab
Do you have anyone for the collab yet? I can imagine Raven being interested in this approach And just a random question: does Isen like animals?
More than he likes people . But no nobody has begun this yet I don't think. Send me a pm or I'll get to it later. Got my daughter atm lol
I'll send you something tomorrow, because I've still got a lot to do now. Until then I think it would be a good idea to think about what the npc character will be like. Male, female, easy to influence or not etc.
Yes absolutely, you can make one each if you want. Or you can do the old devil and angel conscientious struggle to one/two poor souls between you
Hi all, As it's probably clear to see this game has been idle of late. But I do have a valid reason! I having been planning and writing a short story for the sci fi contest on the writing forums, and considering how slow I write I have put my effort solely into that causing SoI to take a back seat. I would like to try and continue the game in the future, but unfortunately that will not happen until the 20th of November and beyond. I had some very cool stuff planned for our group of heroes and if you would like to continue after the 20th, then I will take off from where we left from. Thanks, Fox
Although you are captives, its a free roam around the camp. You can create any areas you want in the valley they reside in. Perhaps to prove your trust to the elves you can do some good things around the place, or maybe a certain group of elves have a particular distaste for your character. Some elves would just be enjoying the simple life away from the tyranny of the human council in Darn: free to fish, pray to the sun, teach the younglings their crafts or help build and improve the camp more. It would be good to see some collabs together, to try and get more history between the characters or bring some tension in some relationships.
I'm fine with waiting till the twentieth. Tbh, I'm actually doing a story of my own, so that's why I haven't been able to post as much.
@Mottahko and I are currently working on a collab, I'll see what I do after that's finished. I'll probably wait, because I also have my own RP to run
