this is an excerpt from one such recent licence for running a workshop at a local venue 12.1 The owner is not responsible and will not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or death howsoever and by whomsoever caused, whether to property or person(s) sustained by any person(s) at the venue. 12.2 The organiser(s) agree(s) to indemnify the owner against all claims, actions, demands, proceedings, damages, awards or costs in respect of loss, damage, death or personal injury occurring during the period of hire. The aforementioned indemnity must be covered by £5,000,000 Public Liability insurance. Proof of such must be provided before the event. 12.3 Failure to provide proof of insurance cover as required in these Terms and Conditions, at the time of signing the agreement will lead to cancellation of the event. 12.4 The organiser(s) shall ensure that its contractors and agents are insured under the same insurance standard and requirements as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
