Showing something the POV missed?

    I think I figured it out. Which is that I was being stupid. Being that I was trying to give tension by showing the reader something the POV didn't see, but this seems like a bad idea. As the connection comes from her reaction. So, if she doesn't react there isn't a reason to show it.

    If that makes sense?
