I had a couple Ideas. I'm writing a zombie series of short stories and my first idea was to make each installment unrelated to the previous. New characters, new location, new everything with every installment. My second idea, and this may get confusing, was to take the characters from the preceding story, and follow them in the next story. During that story, they would meet new characters, and some from the original story would be killed, and then the new group of characters would move on to the third story, continuing the cycle. The thing is that idea just sounds confusing and it would be hard to build up suspense, and I'm not sure which to go with.
