I do believe I have used the search function properly and didn't see certain said thread already made. I do hope my assumptions are not incorrect. Now though, I digress to far from my original thought, is the topic thread. What's your favorite cereal?
I should have stated my favorite. I like plain bran. No raisins. No sugar. Just plain bran. And I like when they get soggy.
Cheerios! Kashi Heart-to-Heart is good too. So is frosted shredded wheat. Nevermind. I go through phases, I can't pick!
No milk? I love when shredded wheat gets soggy! Actually, if you count cereal as a breakfast food made from grain (wheat, corn), I'll go ahead and add grits. So good.
I'm lactose intolerant, so I can't use milk. :/ I used to eat it dry, but Joel and I just sort of...stopped buying cereal after a while. I have some that I use to make trail mix for snacks, but it's been a really long time since I had a bowl of cereal. It's weird, because growing up there were days where all I ate was cereal.
My mom drinks Almond Milk. I don't know if its exactly lactose-free, but I've had a glass and it isn't so bad. You'd definetly need a good cereal though.
I've thought about trying out a different kind of milk, or Lactaid or something...I guess maybe one of these days I'll go get some and give it a shot. Gigi, Joel doesn't use milk with his cereal either. I can eat a little bit of it without milk, but it gets too dry after a while.
I don't know when or why I stopped, but it's just faster to put it in a baggie and eat it on the way to school, I guess.
Cereal and milk definetly isn't a required union; I eat dry cereal out of the box all the time as a snack, but I can't eat it in a bowl with a spoon, my brain thinks it needs something. :/
Maybe my brain just doesn't pair the two together anymore. I like milk, I like cereal, but not together. Like how I like chocolate, and I like raspberries, but chocolate with raspberry filling is gross.
I know! For father's day I took my dad out to dinner with some siblings and here's the first item of the desert menu: Chocolate-Hazelnut Budino with caramel (good), sea salt (alright), and OLIVE OIL CROUTONS?! Fancy pudding, officially ruined.
Yes! I'm like, expensive restaurant, you make beautiful food already! I love chocolate, hate salad, they can't work together! Aarggh. EDIT: I think this is getting off topic haha.
That's one of my favorites. That and Cheerios. When I was little I use to put sugar in with the Cheerios. Now I can just eat them plain and they taste grrrrrrreat. ha. Wrong brand.
I'm lactose intolerant myself. But I use soymilk or almond milk. And sometimes coconut milk. *drools* Weirdly I like the milk to soggy my cereal. I do not eat the cereal and the milk together. I don't even drink the milk out of the bowl.
