LOL, its funny because right after saying that my laptop screen went blank for like five minutes, ha.
@Fan7asticMrFox just want to give you, and everyone else a heads up that I'm going out of town early thursday morning and won't be back till late sunday night. I will have my phone still but I'll be out in the boonies and service probably won't be great. If you don't hear from me I didn't quit playing and I'm fine and just had no service. Or possibly got mauled by a bear. Eh, anyway just wanted to let you know in advance. Might need a brief synopsis of how things went if service is too bad for me to even get on to check.
@mmarage oh god, im not going anywhere ok, but i promise...if the spirits take me to their world then I will contact your either in your dreams or via Ouija board.
;-; Don't contact me via Ouija! You'll probably bring a demon with ya! I don't even have a Ouija board!!! XD
Lmfao, if I contact you via Ouija I'll make sure no demons come through. I'll tell Shango to make sure of it. And by the way, there's nothing evil about Ouija boards. The only way it could bring a demon over is if you invite a demon intentional from my understanding. I kinda think movies like Insidious are trying to scare people from doing ANYTHING spiritual. Like, they don't want you to talk to aliens...spirits...or even imaginary friends. Oh and all witches are evil nasty creatures apparently, lol. I just think there's more good in the universe than bad. Don't let no movies and urban myths dissuade you, I say.
Lol, the Charlie Charlie videos are so fake, it irks me that some people take it seriously. People are so easily manipulated somtimes, it's appalling. I've been wanting to use the word "appalling" all day, too. Thanks for giving me a chance, ha.
Does anyone want to collab sometime soon? I know i've just posted but i haven't collabed for aaagggeeesss and I love collabing so yeah...
lix's diary. June 16th, 2015 The game has finally reached its sixth page..... still on the ship's brig.
Come on Lix, we're you expecting anything less from me and my usual pacing? I write slower than a snail, which leads nicely onto my next excuse! Sorry for the delay, I'm trying to write two posts at the moment due to the splitting of the group and also plan future posts to try and stay somewhat ahead. I'm hoping to post soon, but it won't be tonight. Sorry!
Lol, Shango is PMSing right now, sorry...its a side-effect of his powers, having both Air and Fire in his body can take its toll. I have something planned for him, a little side-plot, but I'm not planning on playing it out until we're much deeper into the story. And it seems like the won't be happening any time soon LARRRD. *cries* Also, if you can't tell, I like the Bard. She's hilarious.
Also also, anyone could join my RP. At any time. It has three chapters and I'll keep it fast-paced. Plz join. Plz.
Game Update I have returned, bringing posts! Now the smaller group have been given some pointers and advice on what is happening their side (which I will not be spoiling with the rest of you!). The rest of you have the following predicament of four Pirates playing cards for money in front of your intended goal. Whether the weapons are in there or not, we don't know and you cannot find out without going through these guards. However, combat with these men would be unwise (though not out of the question) as the noise will alert suspicion not only to you, but to the passenger deck and the brig. If you want you can collab together, though their are a lot of you in this group. What would probably work best is that those in the quartermaster cabin area discuss plans here, and try to come up with one you all agree on. If you can write up to the point where you put your plan into action, and I will be on tomorrow evening with the response. No suggestion is stupid, but make sure it is agreed with the majority of those in the quartermaster cabin group. If you wish to ask me questions then go right ahead, Ill likely answer them tomorrow morning (those in the smaller group can ask me via the group PM). Ta, Fox
Caleb was just scouting, I thought his colourlessness would be good to not get seen at this point. I'm sorry if I didn't use someone with the main skill of stealth, I just didn't have a lot of time. Also Lix see my discussion post above.
I see, I got an idea. So Caleb's group is inside the ship, with that I mean, they have a ceiling over them right? (Sorry, dunno about Ship's anatomy)
Yes they are still inside. They are one floor below the deck, so actions can be easily(ish) heard above them (though the storm might impact that). Goes something like this: Navigation deck (the helm) Obversation deck Main deck Level 1 (inside) - quartermaster cabin Level 2 (inside) - mess hall and passengers rooms Level 3 (inside) - brig
Four shouldn’t be too much of a problem. It’s risky, but not impossible. We just need to take them out quickly with a coordinated strike, before they can call for help. Maia can take one out with her bow. Syl can hit another with a throwing knife. Caleb can get what's left. I think there's enough of us in the group that we could take all four down. Also, some kind of diversion before launching the attack would be ideal. Maybe Shango can create a light breeze, just enough to blow their cards off the table, but not enough that it would seem strange. We can count the seconds between the lightning and the following thunder (assuming there’s a window to see said lightning). Launch the diversion when we see lightning, so the attack coincides with the thunderclap, thus drowning out any cries for help. @Fan7asticMrFox I have some questions, which will impact the plan. Does this room have windows? A breeze in a windowless room would arouse suspicion. If not, what’s their light source? Lantern? Candle? Shango could either blow it over, blow it out, or cause it to flare up, providing a distraction. Also, what are these men armed with and are their weapons on their person or sitting nearby?
And now, thanks to Caleb, we might have four pirates coming toward us. So much for getting the drop on them. YOLO? YOLO! *draws sword and charges at them* Upon further consideration, I see a few potential outcomes: (1) They get up and leave. Now we have to hurry and figure out what to do. (2) They just keep playing. They’re sailors, who cares about a little water, right? (3) They argue over whether to stay or leave. Maybe the winning pirate doesn’t want to pack up and leave, so he accuses the others of trying to back out. (4) They attempt to plug the leak.
