    Somewhere to Put Old Files

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by UnknowingWriter, May 16, 2008.

I have another idea from another Writer site I used to go to, but was no where near as nice as here.

They had something thy called File 13, where you could post anything that didn't fit into your story, but was still okay, where you can post your old writing, and other things.

    Good idea?

What's wrong with using a category in your blog for that?

I agree. For a site with so many options, I would just post it either in your blog and put it in a category you made to fit it, or I would maybe even just post it in the General Fiction of the Short Stories and say, "I have no need for this. Anyone can use it."

You shouldn't be using shared forum areas for a trash receptacle though.

    Yeah, I agree.

    No File 13, please.

I came from that other site as well, and honestly, given that the idea here is to get and give reviews of written work, I can tell you that the File 13 was given little to no attention.

That other site also listed unanswered posts and a great number of them came from File 13.
