The Doctor's Wife by The Clockwork Quartet has always disturbed me since the day I first heard it. And that's what intrigues me about this song so much. It's frightening/creepy/scary - Happy Halloween from @Bobby Burrows
anything in the heavy metal catagory. I feel like its some subliminal message opening me up to demonic possession.
Jai Uttal's kirtan to Kali. I love kirtan and the way it taps directly into my imagination, giving me full-on visuals, but the one to Kali is the one that makes me imagine a frightening ritual sacrifice.
Anything Rammstein. I've read translations to their lyrics and, being Christian, I feel like there's something spiritually evil about the songs. Why would you write stuff like this? And the listeners, esp those who understand German, why on earth would you wanna fill your mind with this? It's a pity because I actually really love the way they use violins and drums - the instrumental part of their music is awesome.
Anything by some tweenage band of bubblegum-popping pedo-bait to barely legal children (male or female) who didn't write a word or a note of "their" song, but spent months and months practicing the choreography so that every single member turns their heads at the. Exact. Same. Moment. And. Angle. when the hook hits....
Imagine waking up one morning hearing a bomb siren ringing eerily then moments later hearing that blare, complete pandemonium ensues as people start screaming. You look out the window and you see hundreds of thousands war machines marching as a wall through your city, the gears of the machines roaring as they exterminate all life. You immediately come to terms with the fact that you are dead and there is no escape.
