    Sports teams

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Dante Dases, Oct 26, 2008.

    Who follows any sports teams?

As you can tell from my picture and my sig, I'm first and foremost a Huddersfield Town fan, and like nothing more than going to the Galpharm Stadium to watch the Terriers win. Unfortunately, that's been seldom of late, and we currently lie in 19th place in the League One table.

Also like my cricket and am a proud Yorkshire CCC supporter (especially in the Twenty20).

    Anyone else?

Only the Cowboys in American football. Otherwise, most sports are kind of dull to watch rather than play.

The Canadian Teams when they compete against the world in Curling.
The Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL.
Canadian Hockey Team when they compete against the world teams.
But sports other than those are just boring.

Does the Major League Gaming count XD? I usually only watch the Halo Tournaments when they're televised on G4, so if they do count, my favorite teams are Str8t Rippen and Final Boss.

I occasionally watch the Super Bowl and if I had to pick a team I'd say the Giants. My dad loves them so I have to root for them or else I'll get disowned or something XD/sarcasm.

I take offence at the verb "from" :p

Nah, I haven't yet. But I've only been here a month (I'm at the University of Sussex), so there's time.

(USA) NHL FTW!!!!! Hockey is the uber bomb. The times that I have actually attended a hockey game--even if it was school- or minor-league--I end up nearly wetting my pants. Even bad hockey is better than the best football. (Sorry! but it's true!)

I have to follow the games on the internet, though--I don't have TV and the only local bar that had TV coverage of sports closed. :( yours in Chaos, Scarlett

    MLS - DC United.

I'm currently watching us lose to Columbus Crew and our only chance at the playoffs... *sigh* Oh well, we had so many injuries this year it was ridiculous. We couldn't get our act together.

I am a fan of many sports and love many teams. My favorite team is the NHL's Detroit Red Wings.
