@Darkthought With all that being said as far as the story goes did all of that DBZ fight stuff happen?
The Wilders being afraid that the others will draw military attention to and trying to handle each other themselves.
I see what you're saying, but I think the Wilders are too rare and too secluded to get involved with each other. I would think that most Wilders don't even know each other exists except in extreme cases.
I can understand that in a small sense but when everything is said and done they wouldn't be drawing attention to theirselves by flying all over the place. Plus like Darkthought said their powers r limited. This isn't Jedi & Sith or Goku & Vegeta we're talking about. These are people that are borderline emotional wrecks that can barely control their powers and again as Darkthought said are very rare. We're not going to see 50 to 60 Psyons & Wilders duking it out in some space garage.
WARNING: MATH PROBLEM AHEAD The Zodiac Station was described as having room for several thousand people; something like 3-5 thousand seems like it would've been described as "a few," so let's instead approximate "several" as 5-10. Now, if the battles in the so-called "Wilder Fight Club" system were to be a semi-regular thing, then the 12 platforms probably have about 15-20 Wilders between them that are powerful enough (the Estelles and the Orions) to know about the system. Also, if even most of the Wilders aren't powerful enough to have found out about the system, then there are perhaps about another 50 who are more like Sherrine or Nina that aren't even that active. With 5,000-10,000 people on the entire station, even 65-70 Wilders would only be about 1%* of the total population, and even most of them are trying to draw less attention than the ones like Orion. Plus, even if getting caught fighting were a danger (which it is), the fact that there are still Wilders and smugglers at all means that there have to be blind-spots to the security systems somewhere, and the Wilders that last longer in the power games would be the ones who know where it's safest to fight. BTW, the greatest flaw in any security system is in the people who enforce it; maybe Orion has corrupt "friends" in high places? There are organized criminals in the real world that can bribe and/or scare police officers into covering for them, and they're just muggles like us. -- There are ways to make any idea work, and there are ways to make any idea not work, and I imagine that most of the people here would feel that looking for ways to make something cool happen would be less boring than inventing excuses to stop it from happening I stand corrected. *0.65-1.4%

Hey @Keitsumah I kind of tried to stay neutral on the matter at first, and perhaps I should let bygones be bygones but, meh, I feel like saying a few more words about it and then never mentioning it again In your defense, I entirely missed the problem at first. But when the others began pointing out what was wrong with it, I began to see it. Its rarely enjoyable to have others pick at your work, but having a second look at it a day later can help to see their point. Moreover, Starfall is quote unique in its sense of realism. We have a history in ToE which is focused on the cool, epic and the fantastic, this is much more centred around human-level drama. In fact, it should be right up your alley to do as most of the characters you have made are quite conflicted. As Darkthought said, bullets kill, punches hit, broken ribs might knock a character out for the rest of a mission. This RP, though sci-fi, is rooted in reality. Having thought about it for a while, I think that at the core of this whole thing lies a more fundamental mindset. I feel like you are trying to retro-fit characters you created earlier, for an entirely different universe, to this world. Just like my characters tend to be the normal, average ones. Yours tend to be conflicted, hurt, mistreated characters with massive power inside of them ready to burst out. They appear on weak on the outside but are actually very strong. I am going to challenge you to perhaps try the reverse, make her overconfident perhaps. Of course, feel free to do whatever you want with your character and don't just take my word for it. Now I am a bit fortunate in the sense that "average" characters can fit almost any universe, for you its much harder to adapt however. Please realize that this has nothing to do with your creative skills or adaptability, its just that you and me both have spend much time in games where powers like the ones Estelle has, were quite fine. Last but not least, I commend you for having shown great adaptability. Though Perhaps somewhat begrudgingly, you did change things around with Estelle, which is great. Its very easy to take things personally, but I am 100% sure none of this was personal. P.s. If anyone notices something ill-fitting with my character, please do call me out on it. I sense an opportunity to not just have fun but actually get better at writing by helping each other out through this RP.
heh, well i guess you are doing the same thing then: you usually don't have ANY powers added on to your characters whatsoever, so i guess we are both trying something new (and in answer, i challenge you to make your character a tad tougher instead of the usual submissive type ). and it has been a nice change to have so much back-story (if haphazard) between our characters. I love being able to grab little details like that and make them look huge, such as the marbles. and overconfident actually describes Estelle quite a bit to a fault actually... though she's not cocky. and i think i figured out why our little PM rp's were so often used by me now -i need to get that extra energy out lol
True, but I guess the interrogation post changed that. Just for clarity, I am not saying you should go this way or that, I just tried to explain what I thought was the "issue" (that's much too big of a word for it, really) here. Anyway, we're all good now right? Time to move on @JJ_Maxx I need an oppurtunity to have Myers talk to Jansen, I am thinking you should just wrap up his stuff with Nina at your own pace but expect him knocking on Pardosa's door the next morning.

Only we are overlooking the fact that no matter how many Wilders there happen to be, the powers simply do not work that way. @Keitsumah. I understand I did say the bit about the skilled Wilder potentially being a force of nature but seeing as your character is sixteen years old I really doubt Estelle would be experienced enough with her powers to fall into that category. Sorry for all the confusion guys.
