Thank you Raven. A few things I'd like to say before people bombard this thread: -Hi? -I'm going to post a short FAQ here. So you can use it when I'm not around. -Chat away! ABOUT Stealth Contact only. -If you have a query (as long as it's not about another member or about your identity/key points), this is the place for it. -I think if we have to vote about Samuel's death, post here. -Please don't touch the milk n' cookies!!! Thanks again Raven.
I'll be posting soon. Sorry about the delay, I was away for the weekend. I should have time sometime later this afternoon.
FNA,SQ (Frequently Not Asked, Screamed Questions) Q1. Why'd you name this 'Stealth Contact'? Ans. I dunno. Stealth matches the undercover thing...and contact makes no sense so yeah, here it is. Q2. Can I join now? Ans. I doubt you're reading this before you've joined...anyhow, no. The plot and game sequence is set out quite differently, and cannot work out as otherwise. However, PM me if you're genuinely interested. Q3. What is the position of my player? Ans. An undercover spy. Simple. You do have ranks, from H1 to H9 (Lower to higher). After that you get promoted. If you want to know your player's rank, just ask. (I didn't tell because it's a lil' bit irrelevant.) Q4. How much censoring is there? Ans. I'd discourage anything romantic, anything. Q5. What in the world is key points? Ans. A key point is a piece of information which can help you find out the terrorists and spies. Duh. You got 5 key points, 1 is a lie, 1 is a useless one, and 3 are truths (helpful). As you RP you'll reveal them in you RPG. You also have to innovate 2 more points which are lies. So here we have: 3 lies and 4 truths. Q5. I can't understand how to make up a mission?! Ans. These missions can be anything, dear. Anything. The purpose is to find out whether your player is a terrorist or not. This is because your player is under surveillance. Moreover, the tactics involved in the missions are going to be hazardous to a terrorist. So yeah, make one up. Q6. Can I get pregnant? Marry? Divorce? etc Ans. Of course. Just don't involve Samuel...please? Q7. Your GM posts just changed my mission...and...whoa?! Ans. Expect it. Q8. Why is your name 'Charisma the witch'? Ans. One, it's not my name. It's the GM's name. You're dealing with alter egos here. The one typing this message is a human being called Rabia. The one voice ringing in your head as the internet personality, is Charisma (ex-anthraxx). The one who wants to convey this message through us, is Charisma the witch. The one puppet we play, is Samuel Philips. Okay, the GM is called Charisma the witch 'cause she wants to scare you. Q9. Hehe, now that someone else's character has found out about who's terrorist or not, my character knows automatically. Right? Ans. NO! You may know, but your character doesn't know unless he/she is directly involved in the confession. The only help you get by the truth being revealed is that you can cautiously plan your moves. That's why it's best to get the terrorist yourself. Q10. That's it? 9 questions! Ans. Correction, 10 questions. But if you have more, post it up.
Fair enough. ValianceInEnd is your partner, and he was busy too. I hope you too have fun, and post soon.
I'm having trouble thinking of a mission. I was thinking of spying on Samuel, but that'll only get me into more trouble than I already am... XDDD
You'd be the best job for that one though, you are afterall in his house and just because he's the leader doesn't mean he doesn't have the chance of being a terrorist.
Hmm...then again, you never know what could be the twist in the story, so yeah, you gotta be. *evil grin*
How do you send a message saying that you need a mission? Because you said that Ang Jin didn't message Samuel... I'm confuzzled
You need to message Samuel once you get the mission, honey, not for the mission. You get the mission at 3. You then tell Sammy Wammy that you've got it.
Firstly, the FAQ has been updated with 1 more question (Not very important, really). Secondly, I'd like to warn some of you! Your partners and/or fellow RPers may ask you innocent questions like 'so your charrie's a gay?' 'Does she like Elvis?' etc, but they can be DANGEROUS! The key points I PMed, may require such tiny details! It is legal to ask them, and use the answer, but the person being asked might want to save themselves. Don't lie, that's rude, immoral and NOT AT ALL ALLOWED around here. Just...I dunno, ignore? (sign out of MSN, and pray the other guy forgets the question xD, or something of the like?) Anyhow, this is just a shallow warning, because ignoring the person may give the answer they need anyway!
I'm reading over the FAQ, and I repeatedly come up with the same questions. Am I finding other peoples Key Points, or just protecting mine?
You're finding other people's key points, but natural. Since you're going to reveal your own, how can you protect them Let's run this lecture again: Your key points are clues (1 being a lie). You will reveal them in RPG. You also have to misguide the players a little, and add 2 more key points (of your own, which are lies but natural) in your RPG.
As a general note: POST. If you feel you're messing up, I'm still alive, can read, can PM on my own. In the name of God (or atheistic/agnostic/buddhist alternatives...), POST first, then wait for me to complain. If I don't, good. If I do, we can all fix it happily. Disclaimer: This was not directed to any member in particular, do not take offense.
Hello?! READ. (The above statement is directed to Oasis Writer xD. No really, it wasn't directed to you. It was directed to several other members along with you...please don't be offended. I am a witch, duh-uh.)
hmm... sometimes a phonecall can change the whole scene. *phone rings down the hall in the bosses cabin*
