"That is what all men say," Emily said, "Truth is men don't respect woman one bit." "Now Emily..." Emily stared at Arius. "I don't want your advice," Emily said. Arius just nodded and then looked at Ares. "I know Tantalizer personally," Arius said, "I can bring her here whenever you want...one question do you think now is a good time to bring her or do you think we should wait?" Arius looked at Ares and closed his eyes in deep thought. "I think now would be a good time just because of the rash decisions of the queen, but it might also harm us if we bring her now," Arius breathed in deeply calmly thinking to himself. Emily sighed heavily and then moaned. "Just bring here," Emily said. "Sometimes you can be a little rash like the boy you chewed out earlier," Arius said. "Yeah well I think it would be safer to bring her now before she gets hurt," Arius looked at Emily and pondered her thoughts as well.
Ares laughs and says "The truth is, your right. Most men do look down on woman. However, I am nothing like most men. So, Emily, why don't you tell me a little about yourself, since we're going to allies after all. Then maybe I can find my way onto your good side." Ares tilts his head and gives her a smile. ........I must admit, this girl has quite a set on her. I couldn't have asked for a better ally.......
Emily stared at Ares. "Is that a lame pick up line because I am not going to answer," Emily said. Emily paused for moment and thought about it for a moment. "I was born on the streets with no family to protect me, so I learned to protect myself...there happy I answered." Emily glared at Ares. "I hate men who wear dresses," Emily threw him a pair of pants and a t-shirt. "Please because what you are wearing is unsightly," Emily paused, "And cut your hair while you're at it." Arius looked at Emily. "You are being slightly insenstive," Arius said. "I am...." Arius looked at her. "You're right............," Emily paused, "......I'm....sorry."
"That's alright, you're not the first person to tell me that. Though I do think its odd that you seem to hate men, but yet want me to look more manly. Also, I was not trying to use a pick up line. Trust me, you would know if I was. I simply want you to be able to trust me." Ares walks over to a nearby table and sits in a chair. "I also grew up alone. If it wasn't for my powers, I would have probably been killed a long time ago."
He trembled at her feet, his naked body shown to the women that stood around him. He was young, yet the years of his duties showed on his face. “You saw… nothing, huh?” she hissed. He shook his head vigorously. She lowered next to him, putting her lips to his ear. She gently kissed it, sending a tremble through his body. “I see. We’ll have to fix that memory of you.” Her head shot forward and she came back with his ear in her mouth. She spit it to the ground, wiping the blood from her lips as he screamed and rolled on his side. She motioned for her girls to take to him, as they came with their nine-tails. The whips went at his back as he struggled to crawl away. She laughed, but stopped momentarily, as a knock came at her door. She hissed. “We’re busy!” A meek voice came through the thick wooden door, “It’s urgent, from the King.” She sighed, and thrust the door open. The servant looked at the scene in front of her, wide-eyed. She glared at him angrily, and he bowed presenting the necklace to her. She quickly grasped it from him, her nails cutting his skin. He recoiled, and she quickly grabbed his wrist. “The King, huh?” she said with a grin. She grabbed the boys mouth tightly, her nails digging into his cheeks, the blood flowed, “Tell him… thanks.” She thrust him back, sending him falling into the hall, and slammed the door. She turned back, and motioned for her guards to stop. “That’s enough ladies.” She said, the smile on her face showing the face of her teeth, “Look what we’ve got here.” She handed the necklace to the brunette, Jay. She was a good six feet, a great figure, and a great soldier. The woman eyed it and opened her mouth to speak. “Yes. My sister’s.” She turned towards the soldier, who whimpered like a lost puppy, and crawled to his side. She caressed his cheeks, licking the blood from his cheek. He moved to pull away, only to receive a slap to the face. “Why don’t you tell us everything you saw?” she cooed into his ear, “If you do… I’ll let my girls have you… in the naughty way.” He looked at her with wide eyes, and began to spill the beans. He could only explain the King pulling her through the castle, naked and calling her the Queen. She hissed angrily, and felt a pang of panic for her sister. Where was she? “Good boy.” She said. She planted a gentle kiss on the head and left him with a gentle touch. She grabbed the necklace, sliding it in her breast pocket. “Give him his reward my pets.” She said with a smile, “Show him what naughty means.” She walked from the room. As soon as the door closed behind her, she could hear his nervous laugh, mixed in with their happy giggles. As she walked away his screams echoed into the hall. She nonchalantly walked forward, and waited for her girls to reappear. They had some work to do.
Emily stared at Ares. "I don't hate men, I just want to be respected by men," Emily paused, "Pigheaded bastards." Arius smiled. "If she hated all men she wouldn't be here with me," Arius said. Emily got up and looked at Ares. "Your powers saved you, huh?" Emily paused, "What a weird thing to say? Don't you think?"
She had soldiers behind her, and in front of her. The line of soldiers 10 in all stood in front in three perfect lines, four in the front line, with flamethrowers in hand. The soldiers at her side were her own female guard. All 6 women of her own standard, chosen for their abilities and lack of principles. The soldiers lined in behind her, pairing off to search buildings and homes. The screams came from the city people as doors were torn down. They would find them. She stopped in front of the bookstore and grinned as the leader of the soldiers in front of her waited for the command. “Get to it.” She uttered. The flames came quickly upon the building, as the gasoline tanks pre-positioned exploded. She was safely behind as the flames flew high, the smoke reaching towards the heavens. She knew they were no longer in there, but it still gave her the satisfaction.
Allan had an image flash through his head. It was the last of his grandfather's residual energy. The tags had been completely destroyed and the so had the bookstore. The image of the fire burning and the melting of objects enter his head through his grandfather's tags. "The bookstore has been completely destroyed," Allan said.
"When I was young, I lived on the streets, in a poor district. It was the slums, and the police rarely even ventured into there. True anarchy. On one day in particular, I had managed to steal some fruit to be able to have something to eat. I ran into an alley, but it was already occupied by a group of thugs. Apperantly, they were the type that really liked really young boys, if you know what I mean. After beating the hell out of me, they attempted to rape me. That is when my powers manifested. The alley turned into one gaint ball of fire. For the rest of the day, I just sat there, in the piles of ash. Then this all girl gang found me. Their leader was also a fire user, and she taught me how to control my powers, and use them in ways that others wouldn't have considered. Eventually, I started to take on jobs for gangs. You know, basically killing other gang members using my power. So it was my power that saved my life, and allowed me to get enough money to leave that place, and hopefully make a difference in the world." says Ares as he looks at Emily.
Emily made a moan. "I hate people like you, my power saved me," Emily said, "Your power is the manifestation of yourself so in fact you saved yourself." Emily glared at Ares and then moved her black hair out of her read eyes. Arius closed his eyes, resting his eyes for what might come. "I also hate people like you who live in the street and fine a gang to hang out with," Emily paused, "Pathetic...I survived by myself, saving myself, and doing everything by myself....I didn't need anyone I found my own food, and I found my own way of life."
"Ha, says the girl that seems to be practically always hanging off of Arius." says Ares with a grin. Ares sighs and says "Besides, that sounds like a very lonely existance. I fully admit to being a bit egotistical, but I still believe that everyone deserves to have some people by their side through life. Particularly in childhood."
Emily glared furiously at Ares. "Oh, is that how you are going to try to out wit me by trying to tell me I'm hanging off Arius....I'm not hanging off him, right now my spine is broken and he is my brace," Emily paused, "I don't need him once my spine is fixed...just like I don't need anything else." Emily looked at Ares. "And I was quite the opposite of lonely," Emily said.
"You're really just going to ditch the man that's helping you? Some how, I really doudt it. Whether you admit it or not, you like being around Arius. You're eyes light up every time you look at him. He has become a big brother to you, and you enjoy it." says Ares with a grin. "Relax it doesn't make you weak, it makes you human. Though trying to hide it doesn't do anyone any good."
Arius smiled and looked Ares. "She will never admit it, its one of her greatest flaws...I believe living on her own has made her this way," Arius said. Emily looked at Arius and Ares with a glare. "If I had something to admit I would, but since I don't I can't admit anything," Emily said. Emily got up with a loud groan. "I'm going to get something to eat anyone else want something," Arius didn't look at Emily. "Tea please," Emily looked at Ares. "Anyone else,"
Ares says "If you guys have any green tea, I'll gladly take some. You're quite the little hostess miss Emily." He can tell she didn't like that commit. "Oh come on. You know you like the teasing. Its going to be fun working with you Emily." Ares leans back in the chair and says to Arius "So, what kind of government do you want to replace Devil. We can't leave an empty vacum in his place."
Emily scowled and walked off to make the tea. Arius smiled at Ares. "I want to combine the greatest ideas of government and place them into one fortified government, it was my mother's idea, but sadly because Diablo is the older one he was able to run for leader were as I was not," Arius said. Emily came back quickly with the tea. Emily set Ares tea down very harshly. Emily sat down with a bottle of pop in her hands. "Be careful its still brewing," she said, "And its hot." Arius looked at her and then looked at Ares tea. "You didn't put a dead rotten in there by any chance?" Arius asked. "If I did it was pure accident...guess I am not a very good hostess,"
"Aww, did my commit have that much of an effect on you Emily. Look on the brightside, I only joke around with people that I respect." Ares turns to Arius and says "I think an imperial republic would be a good start. An emperor would be incharge, and below him would be a senate of people who have proven themselves to be able to make good decisions. Below the senate, there will ba a congress elected by the people, so their demands will be heard. Kinda like how the romans did it for a while. Ofcourse we will also have a constitution that says what the goverment can and can't do."
Emily kicked the table that she had set the tea on making sure everything spilled on the floor. Arius looked at Ares. "Rome is wonderful start of government," Arius paused, "But what do you think people will think when we say empire and emporeor?"
"You're quite impulsive, aren't you?" says Ares with a grin. "Though I did mean what I said. I only joke around with people that I respect. I really do want us to be able to trust each other." Ares sighs and looks at Arius. "The people will be willing to give the new government a window of opertunity after we get rid of Devil. All we have to do is make sure the emperor and senators don't do anything stupid during that window."
Emily glare at Ares. "Don't give me that bull," Emily said, "I'm sure its a lie." Arius looked at Ares and then at Emily. "What have I told you about guest?" Arius said, "You think that any of these senates wouldn't do something stupid....then you are overestimating these balloon heads....the only person who knows how to work a senate or a congressional, or a parliament is me." "That I am not suppose to be rude to guest, but this paticular guest annoys me," Arius smiled. "I know how to work all those properly," Arius paused, "Sadly most of the government is corrupted by my brother."
"Your right about the senators. So, I guess, you'll just have to be the head of the senate in the new government. If you don't mind, I'll take the role of emperor. Oh, and Emily, why do you think I'm lying? There are people that actually want to get along with you and be your friend. You know that, right?" Ares leans back in his chair. .......I wonder how they'll take my claim to being emporer. This style government was partially my idea, so it shouldn't be too much to ask, to have a prominent role in it.......
Arius smiled a little. "Clever aren't you," Arius paused, "Don't take me as an old fool and how I didn't see your plan...I have worked with your type for a long time and I know how you work. You better be careful Ares people like you are easily corrupted. But I don't mind, I like a quite life of senate." Emily made a scoffing noise and giant moan. "Why do men always have to be in power?" Emily said, "I think I should be Empress, don't you?"
"I know how it must look, but I give you my word that I'll be honorable and fair. We'll add to the constitution that if the emperor breaks the constitution, the senate can impeach him. Also, the military will be loyal to the constitution more so than the emperor. Besides, who else would take that role. You're better in the senate, Emily is too impulsive, Jack is a anarchist, and Allen's will isn't strong enough to be a good emperor. Emily, I was thinking you would make a good senator, military commander or imperial advisor. What do you think?" says Ares.
I had been waiting for a moment to strike a mental blow on Emily for revenge but found myself saying "I agree with Emily." I said firmly, glaring at Ares. "I think you'd make a horrible leader, and Emily seems..." I paused thinking of a way to put it. "Random enough to add a certain element of chaos to the government that I at least will find quiet amusing." I said and smirked. I'd block Ares from taking charge, he'd be just as bad as the current ruler, if not worse. "Though I still say, ruin this government and let the world sort itself out, chaos does have a way of bringing about order, though random it may be." I added as an after thought.
Emily clapped her hands together. "See wouldn't I make a wonderful leader," Emily said, "I would make fun little holidays and everyone would love me." Arius smiled and looked at Ares. "I know your concerns about Emily, but a rash Emperor might make a great emperor one who is rash can make quick decisions and that is what the senate is for to take those rash actions and make them clear enough," Arius said. Allan got up. "I have no problem with a woman," Allan said, "A woman might be bale to invoke the emotion this countries needs right now...I mean the city needs a good pick me up, but I think a woman would be able to sense more needs."
