Name: Thoranth aka “The Giant” Age: 38 Race: Human Eather: Light Nation: Grovian Spirit animals, are essentially beings of light created into animal forms, they can either attack or defend and last until defeated or cast away by Thoranth. Also these spirit animals could be used out of combat, kind of like utility skills, such as say using a spirit wolf to track somebodys scent. Novice Spell1: Summon spirit rat Gives character a speed bonus Novice Spell2: Summon spirit falcon Novice Spell3: Summon spirit wolf Novice Spell4: Summon spirit ox Gives character a strength bonus Adept level spell: Summon spirit Dragon Has ability to breath out a blast of light energy, which does huge amount of damage but destroys itself and any other spirit animals Items: A ugloth,(a mix between an ocarina and a flute) a musical instrument that the character uses to channel his energy and gives him better control of the spirit animals. It essentially just makes it easier for him cast spells. Not really an artifact because it essentially has no magical abilities. Brief character history: Thoranth is a little person, he has dwarfism, he is not a different race, and stands at 3’5. He has no knowledge of his family because right after he was born his parents left him in the wilderness to die. Luckily for Thoranth a wandering traveler found him named Balloct. Now Balloct was a wizard, a very skilled wizard, but as skilled as he was he could feel that his life was ending. Balloct had never married nor ever aspired to, but that left him in quite a situation, for he longed to pass on his skills and knowledge onto another to continue his legacy. So naturally when he found this crying baby boy in the middle of the woods he took him in to be his apprentice. After Balloct died he left his fortune to Thoranth who then spent the next five years squandering it on gambling, alchohal, and women. When he lost the fortune he took to wandering, picking up various odd jobs, and living in the nearest taverns. Personality traits: Selfish, Lazy, likes to annoy people but can be charming when need be, he’s a gambler and is always looking for the next big score, even though he has been known to cheat or lie deep down he has a good heart. Physical description: Stands at about 3 foot 5, has a full head of frizzled graying hair and a large beard, normally wears a wide brimmed hat and leather traveling cloths that he had custom made, and that have seen plenty of ware. He used to have lots of fine jewelry but has since lost all of it to gambling except for a small golden ring on his pinkie finger. Other info: I repeat he has dwarfism but is not a dwarf in the fantasy sense of the word.
