Don't suppose there is any chance of convincing you guys to go home where you should be?" "Well apparently this is Terry's home so you could say we are all in a home, technically." Josh said chuckling. "Well If you give us all A's I guess we could consider it." A female voice sounded from behind, it was Tasha. Josh made the cross with his fingers and pointed it at her, "Be gone banshee, in the name of everything half decent!" "Oh shut up nerd!" She snapped back and the two began glaring at one another.
Terry looked at everyone around him. "Can it Woodglue or whatever your name is? They wouldn't take me home b- Aw fuck it!" Terry snorted out. "Its to much work keeping that act up. I'm here to cash in on the gold mine that I'll find. So you losers better stay out of my way." He said crossing his arms. But then a smile spread across his face. "Well almost everyone." Terry put his arm around Tasha. "Hey sweet cheeks how about you take off your pants and I'll buy you a car with all the money I make." He said smiling like an idiot. __________ The boy in the red cap smiled at the interactions he heard. From what he had heard they didn't seem to be connected to the lights but he'd keep his eye on them. But for now he was off to find the missing girl and with that red hatted boy began to unzip one of his backpacks as he left the area.
Tom Woodrow "Be gone banshee, in the name of everything half decent!" Josh exclaimed. "Oh shut up nerd!" A girl replied, glaring at him. "There is no need to be rude." Tom said getting in between the two them. "Hey sweet cheeks how about you take off your pants and I'll buy you a car with all the money I make." Terry grinned while putting his arm around the girl. Tom couldn't believe this kid. He was either extremly brave or incredibly stupid to talk like that. "Terry! If I ever hear you speak like that again I'll personally make sure you have detention for a week." Thomas sighed inwardly. These students were out of control and considering he wasn't techinically their teacher right now...there was very little he could do to make them behave. "Now I'm assuming we're all here to see the lights, so lets go check them out and then get home before your parents start worrying."
Adelie Fields With a vanilla caramel latte in hand, Adelie followed the others, finally arriving to a forest. The colorful lights had been intriguing, maybe a bit too much. Something was off; something was odd...and it wasn't the freak claiming this was his property. Adelie sipped her drink slowly, watching everybody with her squinting glare. "Hey sweet cheeks how about you take off your pants and I'll buy you a car with all the money I make." The same freak from earlier said to Tasha. "Didn't know you were so easy, Tash." Adelie smirked, flicking back her bangs. She walked past the guy, bumping hard into his arm. "Jerk..."
"Terry you live only because the teacher is here, however." *BAM!* she kicked him in his, parts before stomping off up the wooden path. "Well are we going or not?"
"Is it wrong that turned me on?" Terry asked in squeaky voice as limped behind Tasha down the wooden path. He just wanted a little loving. "Yes I'm coming, I'm gonna be rich." He said painfully He then turned and glared at Adelie. "And watch who you call a jerk you fatty." He said sticking out his tongue. Of course Terry himself was a little portly but he wouldn't be mocked by some airheaded woman.
Alison rolled his eyes at the babbling baboons. "Is there anybody here of decent breeding? There must be someone worthy of my time." He crossed his arms as he stood behind the English teacher. "You are of decent social stature so I won't demand that you thank me for gracing you with my presence, but you are nonetheless blocking my view. Find a different vantage point, 'Teach'."
Adelie Fields "And watch who you call a jerk fatty." "Whatever," Adelie said. "You're the desperate one...I'd thought you'd accept the compliment with pride." She continued sipping her latte as she made her way down the path. Mom would probably be wondering where she was, but she didn't care. Ryan would give anything, literally anything, to get her out of the house anyway. Thinking about her step-dad made her irritating anger burn brighter. "So, Mr. Desperate, what's your name? I don't think I've had classes with you or maybe you just weren't interesting enough for me to take notice." Adelie said, following behind him.
"You are of decent social stature so I won't demand that you thank me for gracing you with my presence, but you are nonetheless blocking my view. Find a different vantage point, 'Teach'." Said a young man behind him. He stood like a proud peacock. Thomas recognized him as Alison. He had noted the name because it was odd for a boy to be named such. "He that is proud eats up himself: pride is his own glass, his own trumpet, his own chronicle. Shakespeare." Thomas quoted with a smile to Alison, before following the group up the path.
Terry sighed as he recovered from his pain. "My name is Skulltaker and I already know your name Adelie." He said coldly. He didn't like this girl she was.....um what's the word again? Oh yeah a bitch! But Terry didn't let that slip out of his mouth. "Might wanna watch were you step Adelie a big woman like you might break through the floor." He nodding towards the wood.
"He that is proud eats up himself: pride is his own glass, his own trumpet, his own chronicle. Shakespeare." "Your words mean nothing to me. Me."
They all made there way up the mountain slope each step the lights and colours grew more vibrant, in the sky above the very to of the escarpment, another strange light seemed to be forming. Something was going to happen they could feel it. Josh suddenly picked up his pace, jogging, then dashing up the path way as the light grew more intense and the wind picked up speed. Soon he reached a clearing in the middle of the forest here the light was strongest and most beautiful, but asides from the abundant beauty it seemed...empty. The others soon caught up. "Um...teacher? do you know what that is?"
Thomas Woodrow "Um...teacher? do you know what that is?" "I'm an english teacher, not a science teacher I'm afraid." He replied, stunned by the beauty of the lights. A nagging thought in the back of his mind told him they should get out of here, but he ignored it. "I would say some sort of prism, but there is no water about, no glass...not even a reflective rock. Perhaps some sort of chemical spill? If that's the case we shouldn't get to close. Just in case it's toxic." I'm just thinking of this now? Way to go, teach.
"Toxic? Fuck that I can pay to have that cured once I'm rich!" He shouted cheerfully. Terry was smiling brightly as he pulled out his cell phone. "Time to tell the world of my discovery." He paused and looked thoughtful. "Who would I call to get cash in situation like this?"
"I would say some sort of prism, but there is no water about, no glass...not even a reflective rock. Perhaps some sort of chemical spill? If that's the case we shouldn't get to close. Just in case it's toxic." Matthew was pretty amazed to see half his class plus Mr. Woodrow walk by. His teacher seemed fairly relaxed though and Matthew was way to curious not to tag along. He went out of his hiding spot and caught up. "Mr. Woodrow, according to december212012 dot com this is the result of the supernatural metamorphis we have all gone through, as the mayans predicted. They claim it has to do with the magnetic field shifting, which kind of makes sense seeing how these are polar lights..." Matthew said. "Problem is, it's 2013." he added with a sweet smile. If he could interest his teacher long enough maybe, just maybe he would not mention the pile of overdue English Class assignments.
"Do you see that!" Tasha suddenly exsclaimned, she pointed upwards. In the sky, a small shadow appeared. it had wings, a bird maybe? as they stared the shadow grew slightly bigger by the moment, "Meteorite?" Indeed as the shadow grew larger and large, it took them a moment before they realized it was falling, right on top of them. Suddenly scrambling like mice discovered by a vulture they ran for cover, trying to prevent being crushed! Josh was last to register the danger and as he turned to flee a large impact rocked the land sending whirling energy rushing through the area, knocking all of them off their feet Josh in particular flew several meters before landing with a thud. When they came to, the lights where gone. It was like nothing had happened. The birds chirped, the tree's swayed life continued. No one was hurt, But something was different and Josh was first to notice, the object that fell from the sky was a girl. Skin radiant almost as if she glowed, black hair like night contrasting her complexion. She was tall, 6ft and yet her figure suggested she was not much older than them. It was apparent she had cloths, most of which was burnt off her revealing a nearly perfect body figure. "...teach..." Josh said stunned. "You need to see this. I think we found an angel." "Is she, er it, even alive?" Tasha asked still hiding behind the teacher. "It's chest is moving, this...this is just crazy." While no one would admit it, many were looking to Thomas for guidance, answers. he was a teacher, he was supposed to know everything right?
Terry stared at the girl in disbelief for a moment. He still had his phone in hand, he couldn't believe it........it was all his dreams coming true in one day. A naked woman falling from the sky that was sure to bring him riches beyond imagination. Terry touched the girl's side with the toe of his boot to see if she'd move. "I think she's dead guys." He stated. "How much do you think we can get for an alien body?" He asked.
Alison eyed the girl in disbelief. His mouth opened, closed, and opened again as he tried to find words to enunciate. Finally, he managed to speak. "Really? Surely you're joking. I walked all the way over here under the belief that there would be something incredible to see; something worth my time, and this is it? Just some girl falling out of the sky? How trite." Alison blew the hair out of his eyes. "Next time, make sure it's actually interesting, eh? Ya fools."
Matthew gawked at the events unfolding before his eyes. He felt somewhat dizzy and had a hard time walking straight the first two or three steps. His fellow students were surrounding a girl that had cropped up. But, opposed to the others, Mathhew actually jumped into action. He slowly walked up to the girl and touched her wrist for a pulse. "If anyone has a knive, mirror or glasses, that would be useful" Matthew said. He wasn't really sure wether her heart was beating. "If it condenses then she's breathing" he quickly explained, noticing the dumbfounded looks of his fellow students. "How much do you think we can get for an alien body?" "Dude!" Matthew exclaimed, he wanted to say more but found that the one word pretty much summed up his opinion of Terry at this moment.
Tom got to his feet and knelt by the girl. It was strange to see such a young person who was so tall. She was probably only an inch or two shorter than him. "I highly doubt she's an angel. Or an alien." Tom replied though even he was confused by her strange appearance out of nowhere. He looked around at the scared faces. "If anyone has a knive, mirror or glasses, that would be useful" Matthew said. He wasn't really sure wether her heart was beating. "If it condenses then she's breathing" "Her chest is moving, Matthew. She's alive, but unconcious. A few burns, but it doesn't look life threatening." So what, now you're a doctor. Tom stripped off his coat and layed it over the strange girl, then he took his cellphone out of his pocket and tossed it to Josh. "Here Josh, call 911. Matthew...go to my car. There's a water bottle near the driver's seat. The door should be unlocked. Someone go with him. The rest of you, pair up and check the immediate area. See if there is anyone else laying around. But don't go too far. I don't want you guys getting lost and having to send the fire department after you. Anyone have a coat I can use to support her head?"
"Her chest is moving, Matthew. She's alive, but unconcious. A few burns, but it doesn't look life threatening." Matthew eyed his teacher with suspicion but did as he said. He unzip his sweater and tossed it in Mr. Woodrow's hands. "Where is your car?" he said quickly, his eyes scanned the surroundings and he found a silver car gleaming in the sunlight. "Never mind" he muttered before sprinting and sliding down hill at top speed. Matthew jerked the car door open. A gush of hot air approached him. Ugh, he hated it when cars stood baking in the sunlight. Squeezing his nose between his fingers he reached for a bottle of water and began making his way back up. About four minutes later he arrived, panting. He gave Mr. Woodrow the bottle of water without saying anything. With the back of his now free hand he wiped some sweat of his forehead and continued to breathe rapidly, bent over, resting his hands on his kneecaps.
here Josh, call 911. Anyone have a coat I can use to support her head?" "Wait!" Josh protested. "I-I don't think we should call a hospital, or anyone for that matter. He said glaring at Terry. "If she really is an um...alien she could be in danger if we do that, I mean No human could survive such a fall, but she looks unscathed Well perhaps not unscathed, but don't you think we should give her a chance to wake up?"
"So I'm guessing were not gonna hand her over to the CIA for money?" Terry asked frowning. He was surprised to see she was alive. But come on! She might be evil or something better to get her of their hands for a couple a bucks. "How do we know this isn't some take over of our planet thing......huh? I say we go with my plan." Terry paused and then looked at the girl again. "Does anyone mind if I carry her?" He asked grinning.
Tom "If she really is an um...alien she could be in danger if we do that, I mean No human could survive such a fall, but she looks unscathed Well perhaps not unscathed, but don't you think we should give her a chance to wake up?" "There's no such things as aliens, Josh. Besides, what if she has internal injuries. She could die before she wakes up. It's better to be safe than sorry, wouldn't you agree?" "So I'm guessing were not gonna hand her over to the CIA for money? How do we know this isn't some take over of our planet thing......huh? I say we go with my plan." Terry paused and then looked at the girl again. "Does anyone mind if I carry her?" Tom shook his head. "We're not selling her to anybody. As for carrying her, look at her...she's easily 2 feet taller than you. It would take at least 3 of us to carry her...which we are not going to do in case her back is broken or something."
Alison pulled out a pair of handcuffs from his back pocket and began cuffing the unconscious girl. "You numbskulls all seem to be overlooking the very probable likelihood that it's a hostile entity. Now bugger off, I'll call the police."
