She is quite sensitive, and not just to the force, isn't she? I don't think that showing a bit of blood will scare any thirteen your old boy out of wanting to blow stuff up though xD but I could be mistaken. Bewitched/Ben has already caught me by suprise once. Speaking of which, you play him pretty well Bewitched, his behaviour matches his age
I think that might be my last post for a while, I have to go somewhere. Will be right back soon though.
In all honesty, I didn't laugh. It was bad, yes, but it didnt make me laugh. Perhaps the fact that there is a word in Dutch that would translate to younglings (which is a word Lucas invented). So it doesn't sound strange to me at all. It's more that the dialogue itself is highly anti climatic. If obi wan had been more upfront and said: "He killed children, I saw it." that would've been less awkward. Aside from Anakin, I blame most of the prequel's failings on poor script rather than poor acting. There is a simple test that demonstrates why the prequels arent so good, here is the challenge: Describe the following character without mentioning name, job, looks or age. Try it for Luke Skywalker, easy. (Original trilogy character) Try it for Darth Vader, again, easy. (Original trilogy character) Try it for Padme...ehr...uhm...eh... (Prequel character) Try it for Qui-gon jinn....ehhhh.... (Prequel Character) With the OT characters I could come up with words to describe them almost instantly, with the prequel characters it was much harder. That proves to me that the OT characters are better developed and much more memorable. Lol I kinda stretched this but whatever...
I didn't laugh because it isnt a strange or new word to my ears, its an existing word in my language which is entirely ordinary and commonly used, that greatly reduces whatever comical effect that scene might have had...
Why do I feel as though you give long winded replies to the most simple of things? Not this but couple posts above. I know why you didn't laugh and I still replied with a scream because I found it funny. (The scream bit)
Mac - i think he meant that originally the character looked like he was about to laugh when he said the line... oh and... Taura's lost it again. She won't attack the others though and will team up easilly -that's what Tauntauns do anyways.
Fodderhead? xD Lemme know if I need to edit, I thought it was reasonable to bounce Shado's blade back since it prevents a strike but at the same time re-arms him.
Hey guys, I'm sorry. I have found myself getting busy again. I think I'm going to have to drop this. I can't seem to keep up, as I only check every night. Whatever I was doing the night before has long passed. I will keep checking in on the forums though. Eventually, maybe I will be able to buckle myself down to the forums and just stick with it. That day is not today though. Best regards, Snowman.
Best of luck to you pal. I hope you will find the time someday to rp as much as you like. If you want to, I can try to continue Xelas's storyline. You'll have something to read then
lol, did the same thing because i figured i'd try it... hmm ill go and edit my poet to try and permanently get rid of it...
I am going to wait for Bewitched to determine wether or not Asa managed to tackle Shado, or if he merely knocked him off balance. I have an idea for a post but it depends on the above.
note for Bewitched: those are stun guns. not actual harming lasers. i figured that would be too much for that weapon, and if it'd be allowed i'd like to make another weapon of that type for Taura.
Taura wouldn't have stepped on him! *insulted look* lol jk, but that will not add up to being very good for her later. Unless Caeleck explains the fact that Taura lost it..
