Knights of Cydonia - Muse. I think that I might need to buy some new music before long, though. I've only bought about 3 CDs in the past year, and there's a lot of new stuff I'd like to have in my library.
"As Long As You Love Me" by the Backstreet Boys. Yes. I miss the boy-band era. I once knew all the dances to the N*SYNC videos and probably could still recall if I wanted to. I can to this day still distinguish every Backstreet Boy's voice and every N*SYNC member's voice, as well as 98 Degrees. Not Hanson, though; I never was a Hanson fan. PS: Right before Backstreet Boys, it was Slipknot's "Pulse of the Maggots." !!
Permanent-David Cook (this song makes me very sad but I adore it, its one of my all-time favorites, and very beautiful)
"Jack the Ripper" by Morrissey. "Crash into my arms. I want you. You dont agree, but you dont refuse. I know you..."
"Heaven's Not Enough" composed by Yoko Kanno, voiced by Steve Conte. "Gave it all away, for a memory, and a quiet lie... And I felt the face, of a cold tonight, still dont know the score. But I know the pain, of leaving everything, really far behind. And if I could cry, and if I could live, what truth I did, then take me there... Heaven, goodbye." One of the most depressing songs I've ever heard. Yoko Kanno is a Japanese composer famed for her work in anime works such as Wolf's Rain (which this song is from) and Cowboy Bebop. Her work ranges from standard sounding songs like this one, to jazz (usually in Bebop), to even an electronica sound. She's known for using different languages in some of her songs, such as, my personal favourite, "Inner Universe," which has English, Japanese, Latin, and I believe Russian. (But dont quote me on that.)
Crush-David Archuleta (yes I know, one of the most 'poppy' fluffly songs out there right? but still its fun to listen to now and then )
"Pulse of the Maggots" by Slipknot. They're on tour with Coheed and Cambria right now. I want to go so badly --I adore both Slipknot and Coheed. 333333 ...But I cant afford tickets, and even if I could, I'm not 'allowed' to go. (That special someone in my life was at a Slipknot concert recently and said someone got knifed. !! He wont let me go without him now, he cant afford tickets, either. ) Still fun to rock out to. Probably not the smartest thing with my migrane, but I dont see it getting better anytime soon anyways, so I might as well enjoy my music.
I got that CD through sheer luck... I heard Now, Now ages ago and was looking for Marry Me for a while. When I bought the Niobe CD, the person who sent it to me icluded the St Vincent CD as a bonus - which I only discovered upon opening the box. Made my week, lol. Woods - Bon Iver
