Hahaha! Yeah, I used to listen to them quite a bit when I was in highschool, especially my last year also. Btw, checked out ween, is awesome sauce.
"Techno Cocaine" by Benny Benassi Ha. The Benassi Bros are like an immature high school friend --they make sexual puns out of anything.
Star One, Intergalactic Laxative. That's my favourite song from that set and it didn't even make the album.
I know, it's too bad. It's my favourite song as well, and it was also the first one I'd ever heard by them. I think what makes this song a standout is the lyrics. Even my devout Christian mother loves this song. "Puritania" by Dimmu Borgir just popped up on my shuffle; I forgot how much I love these guys, this song in particular. I've always admired the ability to take an ugly subject and make something beautiful out of it.
I love everything about the track, especially the lyrics and vocals. Jorn Lande made Lost in Space/The Scarecrow for me. Phideaux, Number 7. I'd pick a track but the whole album is ridiculous. I think I like them more than Dream Theater or Ayreon.
"Walking on Air" by Kerli La la la lalala la la... Vocals are alright, music is downright creepy and the creative expression from Aggressive (the video director) made that music certainly come to life in the video! I approve. Especially of her fashion; gimmegimme? Pretty uplifting song, too.
Amon Amarth, Runes to my Memory. When I am dead, lay me in a mound. Raise a stone for all to see, runes carved to my memory. Sounds like a plan!
Alizée, Gourmandises. I take delight that my two most recent posts are this and a defense of the culture of gentlemen beating each other up for money.
Travis- Re-offender Garbage- stupid girl Evanescance- Everybody's fool It's like my playlist is fitting around my mood. All I need now is the rolling stones to come on with Paint it Black, and Soundgarden with Fell on Black Days, and I'll be sorted...
"I'll Cover You" by the Cast of RENT (Collins and Angel) I love this song. When I saw it on Broadway, during this song, I felt like I was intruding on something so intimate... the cast was great. So sad it's been taken off Broadway now.
"12" by Insane Clown Posse This song reminds me of something Torana would write. Details the events of a convict who was given the death penalty but has ressurected to kill the 12 jurors who convicted him... Not for children, but the music and beat is almost eerily hyponotic and laced with some threatening background chants. Easily the best song ICP has produced, only "Thy Unveiling" is second to this song. --Not that I like much of ICP's music anyway. Most of their tracks are too gory for me... No one ever listen to "Piggy Pie."
