Haha, basically the same comment about old Scotty there.

Very true, but I do rather like Creed - or ... liked.
    Mostly due to Scott Stapp

Did you see Creed's recent AOL sessions video?

    LMAO

Stapp walks around like there's a freaking crowd to entertain.

"Dude...who the hell do you think you are? This is an AOL sessions video...Just sit there on a stool and sing, man."

I bet it was lipsynced too. The guy just can't sing anymore. Their recent live videos are TERRIBLE.

Well there are a few things I like from them, (mostly from Human Clay) but other than that I'm done with them.

I need to see these, this sounds like a new weapon (even though I don't really need anymore) to attack big Scott Stapp fans. haha I'm a bad person.

Kashmir - Alter Bridge (A good Zeppelin cover, if I do say so myself)

Also, Myles Kennedy's cover of The Immigrant Song is so amazing to the point that it's actually nearly inhuman.
I've never heard a male reach that high and sound so ethereally good before. That guy's got some pipes on 'im I do believe.

"The Fear of Being Found" by Blaqk Audio.

I see we have a lot of Tool fans here. What songs are your favourites? I listen to "Opiate" and "H" on occasion, but the other songs I've heard are just... bland. (Dont attack me! ;) )

Just like most bands, Tool definitely has their own style. They have some great songs, to be sure.

The trouble is that if you don't really care for their style to begin with, (I do not) then most of their songs will end up sounding the same to you.

I think all of their songs sound pretty much the same. A very good friend of mine disagrees with me. All their songs sounding similar is good if you like their style. :)

I think this is the same with anything, though. They're still technically 'good'.

Jambi is a personal favourite, as is The Grudge, Parabola, Stinkfist and Right in Two.

Ænima, The Grudge and Vicarious. I like Tool, but they aren't close to being one of my favourites- they always seem to have a few really good tracks on every album, and a ton of filler.

I enjoy both their artsy songs (like Lateralus, 10000 Days, and Schism) and their really cool prog. metal songs (Aenima, Vicarious, The Grudge, Rosetta Stoned, Parabola, and so on). I've listened to a lot of Tool in the past, not so much anymore though. It was kind of a phase.
