It was really cool to meet him, and we were very lucky to get the chance.

I heared he was visiting the uni that i'm hoping to go to at an open day, and the head of the creative writing course told me about it and when she said 'We're very lucky to have Iain Banks as our headline speaker this year' my jaw dropped lmao I was like

I think in England it's not that difficult to meet your hero's at one point or another, but i guess you have to keep an eye out for events and such, and be at the right place at the right time.

I've thought about getting that done, but I don't know that it would look right on me. Besides, I'm a baby when it comes to getting my ears pierced. I can sit through tattoo no problem, but get near my ears and the tears start pouring. hahah

Brave you-I don't think I can get my ears pierced now-My mom got them pierced when I was two nd a half, and my nose when I was 3-so I doubt I felt all that much pain, I don't really remember.
