    Holy moly.

I'm already afraid of Mother Nature. She once tore down a HUGE oak tree and put it right into my house.

    O____O

No one was hurt, but we basically had to rebuilt the back portion of the house. :/ Yah, not fun at all.

yeah, I have a newfound respect for wind and trees

the funny thing is that this time the house next to us got hit (indirectly) but a few years ago it got hit by an old rotting tree directly and it tore open the upper floors and roof

bad luck or something, the tree in front of our house is too short to reach us:rolleyes:

    Look what I got!!!

Turns out it's a lot more difficult to skate than I remembered...or maybe it's just because it's been so long since I did it last. Halfway down the driveway, I really started to regret wearing shorts...

I Remember begging my parents for rollerblades only to have them rot in the closet a few weeks later, from where did you salvage these cool wheels Heather?

I ordered them online from Sports Authority after going to the store and discovering that they don't carry skates in my size. :) So excited!

I did not know skates like these were still being sold. Better wear a helmet, I took some bad spills trying out my rollerblades and skateboard, haha.

Rollerskates will always be around. Just sometimes new phases take over. But they will always come back :D

A new rollerskating rink got built around here and all these kids are like, oh my god, oh my god, so like check out what we have got, there like rollerblades

Rollerskates > rollerblades, IMO. I was over at my parents' house when I ordered the skates, and everyone was like "don't you have rollerblades? Why are you ordering skates?" 1. Skates are easier for me to balance on...I have terrible balance. and 2. Rollerderby, dude! Gotta have skates. ;)

Yeah, I need to get a helmet and some knee/elbow pads. I was really scared I was going to fall and hurt myself when I tried them out yesterday.
