you darn kids wit yer compooters and gadgets

when I was a boy pooters were two stories tall and slow as nails

when we wanted to draw something we had to actually draw it, and we had to make our own paper, cos they rationed the good stuff...for the war:)

seriously, I didnt hear about Scratch until recently, and I'm training to be an Information Technology guy:rolleyes:

We did the scratch art in sixth grade, whuch was about 1965 for me. The trick was to really bear down on the crayons for the first layer. Then we'd paint it over with black poster paint, and let it dry overninght. The next day, we used spoons to scrape out patterns to let the crayon color show through.

Thats pretty awesome. I want to get really large sheets of itso I can actually make something fairly intricate. The pictures I posted were all in the shape of eggs that were about maybe two inches tall, not very good for close-up pictures like those.

Oh THAT's scratch art?(Only a lil ignorant then i guess!!) We did it in Junior school. From the 3rd Grade I think. I loves it. All you had to do was shade the page like crazy with any type of pencil/paint and draw pretty pretty things and then scrub black crayon all over the art sheet. Sigh, we could do any type of art for the exam. Got me many As, yes it did. Then came horrible sixth grade and my dreams of becoming an artist expired lol.

You're hair is Fab. Those curls are gorgeous, and being partial to black though I am, they'd look great in all other shades. One of my friends has hair like that but she can't tame them so they don't manage to look great that way. One of my bffs has maggi curls though, smaller versions of yours(the other one believes she's doomed with straight hair like me, and horrors, that too not brow, but black!).
