You do. The car is a Saturn Red Line sport coupe.

They are fairly common around here. Not as plentiful as blue jays, though. Blue jays are pretty but aggressive and mean. They attack other birds and raid their nests. They are related to starlings, crows, and ravens.

Cardinals are generally not very aggressive. They are songbirds in the grossbeak family, and the male is much more colorful than the female. It's probably mating season now, so the male is probably attacking his competition in my mirror.

We have a good variety of birds in my area: finches, sparrows, swallows, owls, robins, chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, red tail hawks, pigeons, sea gulls, wild turkeys, ducks, and geese. At my mother's place, she also has hummingbirds and great blue herons.

We've got lots of cardinals around here- they're fairly common.
There's also lots of ruby throated hummingbirds that fly around my mother's house in the country ever since she put the feeders up.

There's this one that will go down and feed, then sit in a tree and watch.
If any other hummingbird tries to feed off the same feeder, it flies down and chases it away. Aggressive little bastard! :)

    They're quite fun to watch.

    Nice picture, Cog!

I've never seen a cardinal in real life either... or a hummingbird, or... well, lots of the mentioned birds. :( I think all I see around here are blackbirds, pigeons, jack-daws, magpies...

Damn pigeons...never saw one till I went to DC...stupidest birds in existence. I watched one try to eat a single piece of popcorn for about twenty minutes. Dumb thing couldn't figure out to break it apart so it could swallow it. Instead, it sat there trying to swallow it whole for the entire time. Ridiculous...

They're not so daft though. Racing pigeons can be released thousands of miles from home and find their way back using some sort of inner navigational system. Something either to do with the sun or gravity.

    I'd say that's pretty impressive!

Sherie, looks like that knife would keep bopping Tobin in the back of the head if you tried to hold him for any amout of time.

    Love the facial texturing :)

    I like your dress! :D

Oh, and Tobin looks adorable. :)

They're still enormously irritating, besides that.

I'll get prom pictures up soon. For now, this is what it looks like in Tennessee.

Sorry to see your town flooded Emily. I hope there hasn't been too much lasting damage. Is the worst of it over?

It's raining harder now, actually. I'll post more pictures of the damage soon. I think we're safe, since I live up on a mountain. My road is impassable right now, though.

We've got food and stuff. I'll keep everyone updated as long as I have power/internet service. My pond, which down about 20 feet in the ground (and typically doesn't hold water), is about to go over the back side. It's never been this full. Ever.

Hopefully the power lines will stay up. Being cut off from the world physically is one thing, but being cut off from the internet is quite alarming!

I was trying to post a photo from photobucket but kept getting a wee red cross in a box when I previewed it. Is there something I'm doing wrong anyone?

To me, there is no such thing as 'Evening Attire', or 'Formal Dress'.

    There is only: Clothes.

Yes, I'm in a shoe shop, yes I had been walking round like that all day and yes, I am wearing my black Converse All Stars as well.

You know, I don't know wear I'm influenced from...

Not trying to steal anyone's thunder, but I had to share my google LOLZ:

This was just too much fun, I amused myself for ages doing this. I wanted to post some results when I searched politicians, but the language was too far from family-friendly

My favourites from the above have to be: William Shatner is God, and Obama is my homeboy. LOL.

Oh, no. It's permeated the interwebs. :D

"Obama is British"? Where the hell did that one come from? :p

    EDIT: Fascinating.

Xeno, I love the Doctor and especially the way he dresses. I love when people wear fancy dress like suits/dresses/whatever and then have their Chucks on.

    I do it too. :p Maybe that's cuz I just adore Chucks, I don't know. :D

    Love the outfits though!!!
