Don't worry about me, Gi!! My family and I are just fine. We live up on a hill, so the accumulation of our damage was the loss of some asphalt by the bridge, which took $60 in cement to fix. no big deal, especially compared to what many other people had to deal with.

It was pretty scary. Prom ended early because of it. The weather has been neurotic this year.

Bahahaha. *high fives*

Yep. The Cumberland River (big river about 30 minutes from my house) is supposed to crest at 60 something feet tonight. That's really really deep for this river. Many places still have 8 feet or so at their doorstep.

 

Jeez, Em...hope you know how to swim!

My roller derby stuff came today!!! I'm all ready to skate and kick some a**!


Once I get a better derby outfit, of course...

Well, I was in a perculiarly good mood so I went out around the house and added some photos to my "things that aren't me" albulms.

That's cool! My boyfriend does roller derby, I tried it out once but I sucked at skating. No sense of balance at all.

 

I tried it too. I love the skating, hate the falling.

 

I subluxated my wrist last night tucking myself in...I don't think I should be going anywhere near a roller derby.

I went to Six Flags this week for a competition, and got oodles of sunburn while going on some awesome roller coasters. The layers of aloe are so worth it

We found some pretty cool hats in the gift shop there. Couldn't resist editing it!

I know! That would have made an awesome photo, but all he kept doing was trying to rip the wig off LOL! He loves pulling hair, here he was annoyed because I wouldn't let him pull it anymore.

For sure, girl! I practiced my skating last night, and I don't think I'm quite as bad at it as I thought I was.

I'm terribly clumsy until I strap on a pair of skis or skates or stand up on a surfboard. It's weird...

I'm so scared of falling! I told Joel yesterday that part of me hopes I'll just totally eat dirt one day while I'm practicing, so I'll get used to falling before I have girls that are way bigger than me pushing me around the track.

YIKES! I don't think so either, Mina.

I haven't been doing any awesome dress-up like Tor...or cool roller derby like Hidden...but I've been teching a show with my daddy...Notice how he refuses to look at the camera? I obviously didn't get my love of the camera from him.
