Thanks. My friend Sarah did the makeup and my friend Jeremy did the photos. I like dress-up. What kind of fighting do you do Fork?
Mixed martial arts. I quit training last year though. No more desire. I'm the only one in my family who isn't. That's why I write poetry, so I can still pull off the bohemian look. Yeah, I won by submission. That was my only fight; I just wanted to have one before I die.
hiddennovelist: Cool skates! Carmina: Nice photos. I particularly like the second one with the lighting and setting. Forkfoot: Congrats on winning the fight. And I agree with Lavarian, you do look as if you should be in a band. Bohemian poet? Cool.
Hello Hello Hello, So I thought since I've had a little goosey at some of the pictures on this thread it's only fair to really introduce myself. I am Ray; This is me on Christmas Day..about to open my pressies.. This is me, proud of one of my tattoos (excuse the yellowishness of the pic, it was taken on my laptop webcam ..) & This is me out one Halloween as Jigsaw from Saw movies & This has been the fairy on our christmas tree for the past 2 years.. Hurrah for D.M x
Thanks Lavarian - as you have probably guessed by the ink & the username TWOTW is one of my fave albums - it's a masterpiece
The tattoo looks great; I'm a real chicken to even consider a tat, it would have to be something that certainly means a lot to me to have it inked into my skin.
Mina, that dress in the second picture is gawgeous. My, how I've missed seeing your pictures...they're all so great. Haha I'll get right on that. Forkfoot, you should come to Vegas and teach me how to fight. I wanted to take some sort of boxing-type lessons, but chickened out. Epic Christmas tree topper. I dig. Or just a really drunken night in Vegas.
Haha, Hidden, exactly, I had a cousin go to Vegas, and who knows what he came back with; surely a tattoo was the least of it.
hiddennovelist - Thanks We also tried my cat in the hat toy, but DM sat better on it - I think a tradition has been started haha Pallas - I agree with the meaning of the tattoos, I got my first one about maybe 5 years ago and spent a long time contemplating it and what I specifically wanted and 4 tattoos later I love each and every one of them and they all have more meaning to me than than just being asthetically pleasing I've been thinking of tatto # 5 for a while, but I want a sleeve or a half sleeve so thats taking a lot of thought (and saving)
I agree with Pallas, I also find the idea of a tattoo a bit troublesome. I like looking at cool designs on other people, but I just wouldn't have one for myself. A few years ago I was all, "I'M SO GAWTH IMA GET ME A TATTOO!" . I'm just glad I realised it was just me trying to look like the gothiest-goth-that-ever-gothed and not something that had any real meaning, before I went out and got tattoos of bats and god knows what else I'd designed at the time, lolol.
Didn't we all go through a phase like that..I certainly did, I had the black tattered pants and chains to match, though I don't know about bats, haha.
Lol! I had those baggy trousers and chains as well. I think the ones I had were probably for guys anyway, but I thought I was so flyyyy. I still love bats as animals now...But after seeing some old friends of mine sporting their tattoos, I'm so glad I changed my mind. They all stupidly went to some mega cheap, work-from-home tattoo "artist" and, no kidding, they look like they were etched on by a child. I think if someone's gonna have a tattoo, it should be a real work of art, by a really good tattoo artist. Then again, that goes without saying, lolol.
Time for a picture of ME! *coughs* Right, so this is me on Christmas eve... and... yeah, that's all I can say about it. Edit: Forgot! I also made a house this year... Not the most brilliant picture, but it'll have to do.
I swear you've made more than two gingerbread houses this year... Either that or time has gone freakishly fast. Looks pretty none the less!
Dude, I wish we were neighbors. We could get together and craft it up...it seems like you're always baking or making cool stuff!
I guess because I usually see Lydia smiling, it is strange to see her a bit subdued...though the house looks good enough to live in, if I happened to be a mouse...a mouse with a sweet tooth.
