Ha! That's perfect, Heather. Also, you should heed its advice. I can see it now! Bitches and Wheels: The Life and Times of a Roller Derby Superstar by Heather
Haha, I'm taping it in my journal. And interestingly enough, I started writing a novel about derby for Nanowrimo, but then I switched to something else. Maybe now that I know a little more about le derby, I'll start that back up again!
Heather, that thing is awesome. Some pictures from the ice thingies on the window this morning... beautiful.
^Dude, is that just the way the ice froze on the window? (I sound dumb...please keep in mind that I live in a desert and have never seen such things.) That's really cool.
^ weird ice! ---------- Matt got me this t-shirt as a late christmas present!! Isn't it awesome? It's Merch from my favourite webcomic, Questionable Content.
hiddennovelist: That's an awesome fortune. Lydia: Such pretty ice. Ashleigh: I'm afraid I was instantly drawn to Johnny.. But that t-shirt is cool.
Because I'm being a posting whale on my birthday, and also just because I like it and I'm really excited about getting it. My tattoo.
Well...I wanted a phoenix because of the whole being reborn from the ashes concept, and I originally was going to have music notes worked into the flames because at the lowest of the low points in my life, music was a big part of what helped me hang on and rebuild. My friend who drew that tattoo came up with that design, which was actually way different from how I'd originally pictured it (more flame-y, with the music notes more subtle), but I kind of liked it. He drew another version where instead of notes worked into the phoenix, they were above his head, sort of like he was wrapping the tips of his wings around them, but I liked this one better.
So meaningful H, I relate with the music connotations; it was a crucial buttress in enduring some tough patches. Great design; you are going to be more beast than you already are.
Nice looking tat. Here is my all time favourite photo of me and my little man together. Isn't he stunning?
Thank you, Lydia. I love my white hat. hehehehe! (I am so old now) Some of the other photos of Tobin that day really are gorgeous and funny as well. hehe!
Isn't it the case they're grown before you know? Watch out, he'll be talking back next. Very tender picture, thanks for sharing.
I know! He used to fit into his Christmas stocking. I miss my teeny tiny little guy, but he's growing to be such a gorgeous little man. Thanks. Yeah, they grow far too quickly! Talking back? He is already starting. hahaha! He's a very cheeky little man. Thank you.
Some professional photographers from PictureThisCity.com were at Frost last night. Our group of about 10-15 was dressed pretty obnoxiously, and people lovelovelove to take photos of kandi kids. I keep finding more and more of my friends and me looking like idiots... and just laughing out loud. =P You have to be a member to see the majority of the photos, and you'd probably find me easily, because our group looked pretty... unusual. Even by rave standards. Hah! Here are a few more general photos though! This was when Aoki came on stage. One of the stage dancers next to one of the Infected Mushroom mascots. Lots of people bring glow-sticks and glow-gloves to do light shows in the crowd. It's incredible to watch! The guy on the left is using sticks and the guy on the right is using gloves. Aoki.
