Aww, I love that pillow! So cute. And I think the drawing of the girl is my favorite. Also, totally dig that car.

If you filled in the stars, what color would you do? I stuck with black and gray on my most recent tattoo because I couldn't decide on what colors I would use. Easy solution. I like the idea of the vines around your ankle and down your foot! But you're right, that would probably hurt! Sounds worth the wait, though.

They're all so cute! I take it the ying and yang is significant because it's like a half with someone who 'completes you' or something? I'm sorry, it's been a long week and I'm really not feeling that eloquent tonight!
Is the last an egyptian one? I was thinking of finding out my name in kanji but it's so cliche that it's really put me off.
If I filled in the stars I'd probably have them pink because I usually dye my hair with pink (in slices rather than all over) and a lot of my clothes are black and pink so it would match but I get the feeling if I did I'd probably resent having a bright pink tattoo on my shoulder as I got older so I might just do the black outline on it. Maybe I could do something rockabilly with it and have it filled in with leopard print or black and white sailor stripes? That might be funky!

Nightshade: Your drawings, the cushion and soft toy are cool. Also, that car is awesome. If I were ever to get a car (highly unlikely as I don't plan to drive) I would want one as colourful as that. Actually, I'd want an Elmer the elephant car. Oh that would be awesome. I really want one now, darn it. Anyway, yes, I liked what you posted. :)

hiddennovelist: Those other tattoos you have are nice, particularly the first. :)

Yeah, the yin and yang one I got with my sister because we're so close. :) And the last one is actually the symbol for my sign (Aquarius) with the symbol of my husband's (Aries). It looked like a fountain, and I have an odd obsession with fountains, so that's why I decided to get the two together like that.

Filling in the stars with some kind of pattern or design like the leopard print thing sounds cool! I'd say if you're worried about disliking what you fill it in with as you get older, though, maybe just get the outline more defined and then wait to fill it in if you decide later that you still want to?

Thanks. Until I got this one, the first was my favorite. :D And after the novelty of this one wears off, it will probably go back to being my favorite.

I saw your new tat on Facebook, Heather, and I knew you had a few others, but oh my goodness, so many! Hardcore! :) And they look great --I especially like the last one. I can only imagine how much that hurt though, eh? ;)

I finally got my hands on a few of the photos from the Nashville show last week!

I cant remember whether he is giving me a light show or is trying to show me how to play with the gloves in this photo. I am a total failure with the LED light gloves! Hah.

And for those of you who are unfamiliar with my face...

(This was pre-shoe breakage, backpack breakage, kandi breakage, makeup sweat-off-age, knee-scrape-age and hair-frizz-age. Thankfully we don't have an after-party photo! )
I cant decide whether this one is okay or not to put on facebook...

I love all the kandi, Merc. :) Looks like you were ready for a good time!

I don't know how hardcore my tattoos make me, you should see some of the derby girls I skate with...I look like Molly Mormon compared to them. ;) This last one did hurt, though! Before this one, I think the worst one (ironically, since it's the smallest) was the sun, since it was right on my ankle bone. This one was soooo much worse. I was going to get my ear pierced, too (the tragus? I'm pretty sure that's the one), but I chickened out of that since my back hurt so much.

^Seriously? That one hurt more? Damn, that's where I'm getting my next one!

    Love all your tattoos, though!

A friend of mine's Dad passed out when he got a tattoo on his foot/ankle even though his torso and arms were completely inked already, so I always thought that'd be the worst!

Well...I guess it all depends. The one on my ankle hurt. Really, really bad. But it was tiny, so it was like five minutes of hurt. The one on my back, on the other hand, hurt for an hour. So I guess it's not so much that the ankle was less painful as it is that it was painful for a shorter amount of time. If that makes any sense at all. Also, I have really sensitive skin, which made it worse.

Another thing to keep in mind is that my back has tons of knots and junk in it from going through skills and then busting my butt at practice the next day...I think that contributed to the pain. So hopefully yours won't be so bad!

Edit: Thanks, by the way. It's always nice when people like my tattoos, since my dad never passes up a chance to let me know how ridiculous he thinks they are. ;)

An hour? That's it? Man, the next one I get (if I get any more) may not be color then, lol. Mine took 4 1/2 hours!

Yeah, I was surprised that he finished so quickly. And incredibly relieved.

Ha, ha. Thanks! I just got it colored yesterday. After, I was like, "Oh, hell yeah! I look sexy!" Lol.

And my son is even more adorable in person. He has the brightest eyes. Although, some woman at the mall thought he was a girl... I wanted to punch her in the face, but I restrained myself. Ha, ha. I mean, he was wearing a BLUE outfit with SPORTS stuff on it! Come on, lady!

Seriously? There are some babies that are kind of ambiguous, but yours is clearly a boy. And yeah, even if you're not sure, I thought everyone based it on outfit color! Silly woman...

Couple shots from this weekend's concerts. We had a blast and people seemed to really dig the music.
