It matches your eyes, your top, your notebook and the throw on your couch! :D

    Looks great!

Dude, you should look up some patterns for other stuff! I was suuuuper intimidated when I first started making other things, but it gets easier! And it's fun.

Yes!!! I actually just started working on a blanket (nervous! I've never made a blanket before!) for my cousin's first baby, who is due in September. My sister-in-law is preggers, too, so I've got some stuff planned to make for her, and two of my very best friends in the whole world are trying for a baby right now, so I'm super excited to start making stuff for them. :D It's so much fun making cute stuff for people, especially for babies.

Definitely want to try a blanket myself. Some of my classmates did that instead of a scarf for the final project when we were all learning how to knit last year, and I want to try.

I was really nervous before I started mine, but it's the same concept, just takes longer...and there are some super cute patterns out there. :) I would definitely give it a shot!

I'd love to knit, but it sets my teeth on edge. The squeakyness when the wool rubs against the needles..URRGHHH god there it goes. *shudder*

I know what you mean. The clicking of the needles really gets to me after a while. :/

Aww, I like the clicky noises my needles make...I can't say that my yarn has ever made a squeaky noise, though.

I like it too, but after an hour or so of knitting it becomes a dull sound in my ears.

It happens 'cause I have a habit of pulling it too tight, so it's a real effort to get the needle through, and then the horrible squeaky-set-my-teeth-on-edge-thing happens.

    So basically, it's 'cause I suck. :p

That makes sense. Usually after a little while, my hands start to cramp, so I have to stop. I don't think I could knit for an hour at a time.

Hahaha nah, I think I know what you mean now. That happens to me sometimes, especially if I'm using thinner yarn. Definitely not my favorite.

I finally have some pictures from climbing at Medicine Wall. I was super out of shape (I hadn't climbed in over a year) but still had a blast. My buddies Eric (yellow shirt) and Carlos(gray shirt) also did some great climbing:

Awesome pictures! Looks like fun! And you don't look out of shape at all.....

Re the knitting thing, my mom knits, and I"ve never heard any scraping noises.....that's weird though haha...maybe you have to be up close.

That looks like so much fun, Kyle! :D Wish I could do something like that. I've only ever climbed inside before.

I've always wanted to go climbing like that :D.

This is why I need a Boyfriend Wonder -___-:

The costume isn't complete; I'm waiting for green tights and a yellow belt in the mail. I'm hoping to rock out the costume while going to see The Dark Knight Rises or, hopefully, the Emerald City Comic-Con XD. All of it's either handmade or clothing I already own, except for the hair clips (which read "POW!!!" in bold lettering), the mask, and the gloves.

Hey that is a pretty sharp costume; cosplaying is such fun way to show one's fanaticism. I guess the inevitable question is where is batman?

Thanks :). It's hard to cosplay as Batman on a low-budget and pull it off. I have a Batman backpack, which comes with a sewn-on cowl with bat-ears and a mask. My friend has a Superman backpack. Our in-joke is that she'll cosplay as Superboy while I'm Robin. We're our bags' sidekicks XD.

Thanks :D. The only problem is that I haven't actually seen any of the earlier Batman movies *Sigh*. I'm a comics/DCAU gal XD.

I want to go to a con, if only to see people in their creative cosplays; I think ny hosts one, but I'm too absent minded to remember to look it up..:/

    Have fun at yours.
