Actually, on the tv show Impossible Shots, they've done it MANY times, they do lots of cool stuff. Mythbusters botched that one. They just needed pro archers/shooters.
Yep, you should check out Impossible Shots Great show for trick shooters/archers. They do some awesome stuff on there.
The guys name is Byron Ferguson. Found a video of him shooting the flame off of a candle. There are more of him, but not the robin hood one on you tube Still, he's awesome if you want to check it out.
You gotta remember that the myth was splitting an arrow in half from end to end. But because of the wobble and the grain of the wood it couldn't be done. There is a difference between splitting it halfway down and all the way through perfectly. The shot, described by the myth, couldn't be done.
I once saw a video of a guy cutting a bullet with a katana. He cut it straight in half...now that was sweet!
I already saw it, but it looks so nice! And soft, snuggly and warm. Actually, I want it! You should be proud of yourself, I'm sure it was a lot of work.
Aww, Heather! That is really beautiful, and I cant imagine how much time it took. I bet the baby will hold onto it forever... I still have my baby blanket.
I'm glad you guys like it. Hopefully my cousin's baby does, too! My hands still hurt from working on it...
Thank you! My sister-in-law is pregnant, too, and I found a pattern with little bears on it to make her. Nervous! But hopefully it'll turn out even better than this one.
hiddennovelist: That blanket looks so nice and warm, and you just want to wrap it round you. Your cousin's baby is lucky.
