I know what you feel about the thick and curly hair. I've got it. :/ So hard to straighten it and to blow dry it. Everytime I straighten it, If the wind blows it once, it's no longer straight. It's just flopping everywhere. :/ Also, I dramstically change my hair color, I've been blonde,Jet black, purple, orange, dark brown/ light brown. I haven't tried any other colors yet but I'd love to try Blonde and pink together:) So from me, I'd say go for it bleach it! :) I bet it will look pretty! If you do bleach it you should soo totally post pics!

Thanks. :) I like the first one, too, but my sister just emailed me and said she likes the second one. Grrr.

Hidden - overall, I like the design of the first one better, but I think the girl's hair/lipstick are more defined and dynamically colored in the second. Her face looks better, but I had to look for a couple seconds to figure out what the ring was. But I like the skates, and her lying down like that.

What if you did one where a girl is relaxing on top of a giant wedding ring (like lying on the bottom of it, inside the circle), or leaning against it, so she's in closer range AND we see the wedding dress and derby skates?

Just an idea. I like both of what you've got.

By the way, how do you upload drawings? Did you have to put it online first to insert the link?

I was thinking about trying something like that, with her leaning against the ring, so you could see some roller skates and the dress, but Ashley wants something that looks like she's ready for a fight...I think I might experiment with a few more ideas anyway, because I like being able to see the outfit and skates better than the one with just her face...thanks for the tips! I'll see what else I can come up with. :)

To answer your question, I scanned the drawings in to my computer, uploaded them to photobucket, then posted them here.

How about her climbing over the ring like she's about to charge at someone?
Or using a wedding cake as a battleground?

Ooh, I really dig the wedding cake idea...I'll definitely have to play around with some more ideas. Thanks, Mal! :D

Or you could just use the ring as a frame with her running toward the viewer perhaps? I liked the first one better too. :) I like being able to see her outfit and skates.

Edit: Oooh, I like Mal's wedding cake battleground idea too!

    From Heather's obsession to mine...

I'm sure everyone wants to see my new monster backpack... ;) I bought it because for all these upcoming festivals I'm going to, people usually bring mini-backpacks (full-sized ones are usually prohibited and also hard to dance with). Unfortunately, I broke my mini-bear backpack a few months back. I am hoping to figure out how I can repair it (it's mostly a problem with the straps), but in the meantime I ordered a new one that I love equally... It's just adorable! It's a perfect size too; big enough to hold my keys, ID, some money, some kandi, a breakfast bar and a water bottle and small enough to dance comfortably in.

My whole outfit for the next one (which is less than one week away; hooray) is pink and fluffy. :D I'm pretty excited...

Most definitely, Gi! :) I'm glad everyone likes it. I was absolutely thrilled when it came in the mail, and I cant wait to wear it to the first show of the first annual traveling EDM tour, the Identity Festival.

My skate name would be something Potter related, I think. Or Star Wars or LOTR. :D

Am I the only one who thinks the Yoda backpack is kind of creepy? It looks like it's reaching for that guy's neck.
