Jules Vernes' Nautilus, Mark I. Not very happy with the drawing, working on the Mark II, have bigger paper this time! Wouldn't fit in the scanner, got crazy with the drawing and it went off the corners. Had to take a pic, sorry for the eyesore. Prelimary sketch. The fish bowl observation deck on the bottom was removed, the ram is different, the dive planes, and the molding of the body too.
I'm becoming obsessed with 20,000 leagues under the sea. Been drawing alot of Nemo related stuff and steampunk technology. May write a screenplay story for fan appeal---a story exploring the mysterious Nemo. And even though Nikola Tesla was just a kid when the Nautilus supposedly set sail, I think he would make a great secondary character.
I rarely get drunk because a) I just can't drink that much to GET drunk and b) I don't find it attractive either. But I tend to silly for about the first thirty minutes, and then I become really subdued and quiet. I guess, I'm a brooding drunk in some ways even though inside my head I'm having the time of my life, just outwardly, I tend to just want to observe and be quiet. Same with caffeine, it doesn't make me hyper, it makes me sleepy.
Thanks guys! As promised, the sketch for the Nautilus Mark II. I think this model is superior is most respects. The sheet didn't fit in the scanner so the bow ram and parts of the rudder got cut off though. Concept sketch for the deep sea diver suits.
When it's not raining, I also like hanging out in the garden. Although I really love spending hours pulling weeds rolleyes, my favorite thing is getting to take home veggies with me. In the greenhouse: Yesterday's harvest:
Aw, if you guys lived any closer I'd give you veggies too! I have to bike for about 15 minutes to get to the garden, since it's a piece of ground that's not next to my house (house is more in the center of the city).
Agreed, a most splendid garden! I see grapes! You can make your own wine! I envy anyone who has a garden but realize how much work must be involved in maintaining one
