Dogs are among my favorite people. There are five in the litter?

    They look so serious!

There are ten in the litter, the two smallest ones stay inside more though as several of the larger ones are bullies. They are so competitive , one had a piece of paper last night and the whole pack was chasing him trying to take it away. We had to bring them all in last night, it got down to 27 here.

What's the file size limit for uploading pics from my computer? I drew a rough design of the tattoo I want to get when I can afford it, and I tried to post it but keep getting errors. :(

Well the dogs took over our porch, they kept the cushions on our swing dirty and were always underfoot. To be honest, there is a certain comfort knowing that 200 pounds of Rottweiler are sleeping at the front door, but enough is enough, I added 12X16 foot of new porch just for us, no dogs allowed, cut every board and drove every screw. Here is the frame...

I clamped a 2X4 to the bottom so my floor joists could sit on it for support..

    Floor joists done..

Couldn't wait to try out the new pit...

    Rafters going up...

    Decking complete..

That's a 16 foot 2X6 support holding up the rafters, a real chore doing it myself, and the roof is on..

Now, all I need is the railing...

Those were the best smoked chickens ever, I smoke them real good for an hour then wrap them in foil and slow cook them, they stay real juicy. Remember why I built this? To keep the dogs on their side? Well, women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just relax and get used to the idea...

Hahaha, I have a cat, so I know exactly what you mean. Cats are gonna do whatever they damn well please, and we should just accept it.

Ah, I should try that sometimes. Smoked chicken, slow-cook for an hour wrapped in foil.

Use oak, smoke them real good for 45 minutes to an hour at about 250-300, then wrap them in foil and let them cook at around 250 for 2-3 hours. My wife sticks a meat thermometer through the foil into the breast to make sure it's done in the middle.

These two ladies came to live with us today. They were born on January 12th 2012.
    They're currently unnamed, but the folks are toying with the names Keiko and Mako (pronounced: may-ko. Irritating spelling, I know). ♥ I get no say in naming them because I only stay at their place when it suits my current work. I guess this is fair. ^^;

    Awesome Wheel of Time Pic

Not sure how many Wheel of Time fans we have in here, but can't wait for the last book to come out. In the meantime, one awesome fanpic I found. Can only assume the man in the pic is supposed to be Rand.

So because I suck and can't seem to insert the photo like all you clever other people can, I'm going to have to give you a link instead: http://architecturelinked.com/profiles/blogs/beijing-poplar-picture-book

ISN'T IT AWESOME? ;D I'd go to Beijing purely to go there.

Oh man, Eunoia, I just spent like twenty minutes just staring at that. Is it even legal for something that awesome to exist???

I tried to draw my protagonists this weekend, but I'm still new to this whole drawing thing. Still not the best with anatomy, but this took forever so I'm posting it anyway. Carpe diem.
If there's any artists in here who could give me some pointers, that would be fabulous.

A lot better than what I could do. The arms seem squished into the torsos, but other than that, it's hella good.

    My art?

These are my protagonists as infants. The blonde haired girl is Mishu Jerni, and her friend is Akeshia Valmorn. Canonically, Mishu's 14, and Akeshia's 16.

I'm still giving my drawings colossial heads. x[

    Thank you~
I haven't quite gotten the hang of foreshortening yet, haha.

I like the way you draw their ears. They look kinda like little elves :)
