I can honestly say that was the smile-inducingest day of my life. Here's a couple of gig pics of my band, Niavka (yes, we play funk/rock/metal, but we had a Power Rangers color theme for the gig with the annoyingly colorful shirts and a cyber punk theme for the other one).
Thank you, Liz. A few guests were a little surprised when the groom played at his own wedding, but I always did like the idea of performing a few songs with my band even though we are a little heavier than your run of the mill wedding bands. At least it was fun to confuse the older folk with some proper head-banging.
Here is a picture of me cooking dinner with two fussy kids. Kyla is in the carrier, Langston is on my shoulders.
Aaah, LordKyleOfEarth that is adorable! I recently found some notes I wrote up on one of my protagonists and saw that I'd listed him as 5' 7", so I compared him with the other hero (6' 0") and realized she's half a head taller than he is. And then I doodled it to see how it would look. I'm not changing it.
Yep. See that white building, in the second picture? That's where I live (only kidding - that's the dean's house. Where I live is actually just to the left of that...)
What a nice campus! Beautiful nature. Our campus looks like brick walls and billboards. It's in the very center of Helsinki, so there's like... two threes and a drunken pidgeon that sort of remind us of the existence of nature.
I picked some swiss chard and carrots from the garden yesterday. They made for quite a nice Mother's Day dinner:
This is me with my best friend Dancer: (the picture is about a year old... don't have nice recent pictures ) As you can see, Dancer hasn't stolen his name. The pony isn't mine!
Still can't draw my protagonists consistently aaahhhh This needs a lot of work still but I don't hate it so here~ Any artists here who could give me a few tips? Or not-artists who notice any huge glaring flaws I might have missed?
Sometimes a scene just won't come together, and you just gotta take a step back for a bit and do a little art therapy. My main character gets hit in the face a lot. Talk back get whacked, son.
Someone 'splain me please! I've been trying to insert the odd picture here and there as visual aid when discussing subjects and the forum doesn't let me. It always gripes that a file is too big no matter how tiny I make it and that upload feature (didn't have that back in the day) always gives me a red exclamation mark. What gives??
Wreybies, uncheck the box that says, "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" and then it should work!
