If I get to Heaven before you (assuming I get there at all) I will ensure that you get an upgrade to an ocean view cloud with deluxe harp upon arrival.
Finished my last exam on Wednesday, so finally I've had some time to work in the garden and do some baking. Delicious strawberries! Pretty chives.
Dammit, Lydia, you've made me hungry! That bread in particular looks great. Congrats on the end of your exams
It was an unusually pretty morning in Puerto Rico. A morning of perfect human silence where only nature spoke. From the terrace looking down on the long side of the property... The opposing view from the lowest part of the cleared area. Half the property is under forest to the left... This is the other side of the property facing the street. I love the way the valley stretches out to that hill in the distance. It's a mountain when you get up close.
Wreybies, that really is amazing. Makes me jealous. I remember you mentioned you moved into a new house 3 or 4 years ago. Is this the same one?
Wow, what a view, Wreybies! It must be lovely to get plenty of sunshine year around. This summer has been particularly horse-y for T.Trian and I. We went horseback riding last weekend, a couple of weeks before that visited a Medieval Fair in Turku because we really wanted to see jousting. Here's a couple of pics from there 8)(sorry about the quality though. Camera phones...)
While rummaging around my dad's server I happened across these pictures of when I lived Fort Augustus in the Highlands of Scotland. I miss them. Life was simple, and Highlands folk treat you right. Three of these pictures sum up exactly what the Highlands mean to me. A place perfectly encapsulated for me in the Robbie Burns poem 'My Heart's in the Highlands'. You might have to click on them to enlarge them, these pictures I took myself: (Yes, that is Loch Ness) And here is your humble moderator aged 14 or 15.
Yeah, Lemex, those are awesome. I think I see Nessie in that Loch Ness picture. By the way, you look much older than 15 in that last picture. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I used to get that all the time. It was good at the time, because apparently I liked more like 18, and I could be served alcohol if I was lucky. I guess I just have one of those faces. I do know that was before I needed to shave regularly, and not just because of the location. I know that for a fact because I've really been bothered to shave most of the time.
Excellent. Can't tell you how often I've been off as to the gender of members without a photo confirmation.
My hubby William doesn't often let me take photos of him. He's camera shy. This is the person who makes it possible for me to enjoy being me and pursue the career that makes me happy and the other parts of my life that make me me. We've been together 6 years.
Darkthought What's the ink on your chest? I can only partially make out the pattern.
Its a spider with an eyeball on its back holding up some sacred geometry with webs coming down off it.
