@jazzabel Want some pigeon poo? I have bags of the stuff. I'm finding copious quantities of guano amusing. I must need more coffee. The reality hasn't hit home yet.
@obsidian_cicatrix : Luckily, I have plenty of that already, a massive cherry tree that gives no cherries, but it serves beautifully as a pigeon toilet. Can't leave anything underneath it
I may just have to put an alpine lake scene in my story now that you've reminded me how much I love them.
two images, the lion i've recently started work on again, the ass was a gift to a friend. I need some new inspiration to draw, i need something to ignite some creativity. Any ideas folks?
I admire your talent, @Lae, but those buns need a bit of anatomical tweaking. Take a look at some real anatomy like "Grey's Anatomy" and I think you can still have a beautiful butt, but one that is more anatomically correct.
haha i actually study physiotherapy ginger, i have greys and many others. The reference is from photo believe it not (although i assume slightly tweeked itself) and was chosen by the giftee
My latest inspiration stems from a Google search for an image of Richard Morgan's character Seethlaw. I was amazed at how few depictions there were of him online, so I'm now on a mission. Problem is, his appearance is in a near constant state of flux, the most obvious thing about him being that he exudes an electrical blue discharge. I've assembled a collection of descriptions from the book, and once I'm happy which elements I want to incorporate, I'm gonna go for it. What about your own characters? Ever draw them? I have a couple I'd like to do eventually.
@Lae Awesome drawings! And I've seen butts like that, granted, mostly on fitness competitors, but they do exist . Maybe you should draw a horse next? I'm not saying those in your photos aren't cute, but how about something like a fierce Friesian (photo not mine)...
I googled seethlaw, i wasnt sure what i was looking for. Is he an anime character? I have tried drawing my own creations, never works unfortunately. Im an absolute perfectionist when it comes to drawing, not that what i do is perfect by any stretch but i hate it if something looks off. Anything i create from imagination seems to look off to me. BTW if you are starting out drawing anime is a good way to go, lets you learn proportions and anatomy (to an extent, when you make something realistic and give more depth there are different factors to consider). The only downsides to drawing anime is A getting stuck doing it and not progressing and B it gets boring I'm unfortunately yet to see an ass like that in person..... The horse, hmm they're done A LOT. I would have to drawing something with say full battle gear on, something along the lines of lotr or mediaeval. I would also have to explain the mrs why i didnt draw her horse first....
I think horses are drawn a lot for a reason 'cause they have such a breathtaking anatomy and grace about them. You can spend hours working on the horse's eyes just to get the expression right. Ask your missus, she'll concur, horses are visually very captivating creatures. A medieval horse, say something like a shire horse in full battle gear would make an awesome picture. You can tell your lady it was her horse in its past life.
I'm spamming this thread, sorry, but I just wanna share a pic of these cute socks my mom knitted for my cousin's family. I have the pink ones, as well. I hope Converse won't sue.
I'll look into the white horse with full gear, see if it sparks something. Oh and those socks, they're actually pretty cool.
The socks are great! Love the hand-knitted stuff always - my sister even makes her living in that field. I have to confess, though, that when I glanced at the picture I thought, "These people wouldn't even need socks if they had hooves..."
Really? How does she do that? She probably doesn't make it all herself, or...? It's so time-consuming and you can't put a very high price tag to your product unless you've really branded yourself. Lol, hooves need shoes!
@KaTrian : The socks! Omg, does she sell them on Etsy? (hint, plea...) @obsidian_cicatrix : I would love to draw, but I have two left hands for that. I have a folder full of photos and pictures I came across, to give me visual inspiration, and occasionally I have a scene or a character I'd love to draw, but I just don't have the talent. Then I contemplate doing a photomanipulation, but realise how much time that would chew up, so I go back to writing Good luck, though, I am looking forward to the results!
Like @KaTrian said, all you'd need to do is check out fitness competitors and you'll see butts like that a dime a dozen, so in that sense they're anatomically correct, just not something anyone can get without lots of hard work. A Finnish champion, Anna Virmajoki (NOTE: no nudity, but to some might be NSFW) is a pretty good example. Draw your wife's horse in full battle gear? Or a shire as an armored knight's charger and hers as a princess's pure-blooded mount? We'll pass word to her; just let us know what color and size you'd like and we can PM you an estimate on the price (but it'll be peanuts).
