That's interesting. When I uploaded it, the gif worked in the edit window and I thought it was going to work. And then it didn't.

Now I think, how cool to have a gif when you click on the member profile that one doesn't see in the avatar.

[leaves to ponder a follow-up gif.]

    @GingerCoffee

Isn't it a little early for Christmas? Are you sure you don't work for the corporations?

I tried to find a politically correct image for Thanksgiving and gave up. You either find a turkey (kind of blah) or an indian/pilgrim image and the indian with one feather looks wrong to me. And I failed at finding another November holiday that was interesting. It need not be a US holiday.

Do you have any good November holidays or avatar images I should consider?

@GingerCoffee Why not just an autumn-themed avatar for November? Orangey leaves?

@Imaginarily: Well, he looks like a fairly buff kitty. Enter him into a cat bodybuilding contest! :p

Your kitty is the double for my kitty's best mate, right down to the white tippy toes and blaze on its chest.

Mostly fluff, though he is surprisingly strong. o_O His winter coat must be hiding his true buff-ness.

I love his little white tippy toes and chest! :bigeek: He looks as formal as he can get without being a tuxedo cat. :-D

That's okay, I was planning on having Jack be snarky as hell and say his name is short for Jackary.

A bit of admittedly amateur photo manipulation as I muse the magical mishaps and misadventures of the miscreants in my manuscript. :)

I have a lot of photography online but my portfolio is down at the moment so I'll post 'em later. Until then, here's some selfies, they're much less interesting than my photography...

I haven't had much of a chance to take new pics recently as the weather has been dire, so I've been taking a look through some taken earlier on in the year. I can't take credit for the idea, (that was suggested by my friend Karen) only for the execution of that idea. The building is the rather striking Titanic Exhibition Centre with it's multiple 'bows'. If you could look at it from above, it forms a perfect five-pointed star.

Cheers @GingerCoffee. It's definitely one of the better photographs I've taken this year.

Actually I guess the site doesn't need to be up, the photos are still uploaded.

I was faffing around with some pics earlier and rather liked this one of my daughter's pooch deep in thought:

So here's what I've created in a few hours playing around with Adobe Photoshop and various pictures I've found on the web:

    upload_2016-2-22_15-45-48.png
I'm not sorry about it at all. :p

    upload_2016-2-22_15-1-16.png
Harry Potter and his alien wife share a romantic moment together. Moments before the Great War caused by the New Voldemort Regime. :p

    upload_2016-2-22_15-2-19.png
Zuko finally got his left eye back! I wasn't paying attention to the orientation of his head and the eyes so he looks kind of weird. Still, huzzah! Our angsty Firebending prince is no longer blind in one eye!

    upload_2016-2-22_15-6-27.png
This requires some context: A few years ago, I had a professor who made it his life mission to tell us how horrible humans were, how disgusting miserable and evil we were, how arrogant and presumptuous we were. That we were nothing but gorillas in tuxedos, roaches with delusions that we were better; prostitutes to the cogs of life. And to further illustrate that point, he had us read literature that discussed just how worthless we stupid meatbags were.

I've waited a long time to finally make this.

Hope y'all enjoy these! :D More will be on the way as I go.
