Glad you made it out with your sanity intact! That does look like a cool place to have a picnic or just explore about... not after sundown though. We have some abandoned building here, like all big cities, and the city sometimes offers one up for muralists... but they never accept my submissions. I suppose they want something more uplifting than what I can deliver.
Here's something I drew on MS Paint featuring my characters. I just can't stop drawing them. Background about this: Few years back I submitted a scene featuring Gregreo and Mishu to my Creative Writing class for critique. A few actually thought the pair were secretly related in a father-daughter sort of way. Well, this was my first logical thought to that. What do you all think of it?
Thanks. I imagine Luke is mighty frustrated at the constant ‘villain is the hero's father’ cliché by now. By the way, does Mishu look like a boy to you? In my head, Mishu's supposed to be a girl, but I think I drew her as a boy.
I love art, tho. But the last time I tried to post here it didn't work for me. I'll see. Yeah, nothing will upload on this site for me for some reason - except as a avatar.
Have you tried uploading the pictures on an uploading site first? I upload them here first: http://s44.photobucket.com/ Then you copy the direct link of the photo and paste it in the Image URL. The "Image" is the sign next to the smiley face, at the bar above the text.
No, I haven't done that. Not this time. Didn't want to have to go through all that again. It's not really worth it. I'll just post a few favorites as avatars. Thanks, Malisky!
When I get a real life again (and remember to shoot pictures out of it) I'll be sure to post again. Right now, I'm keeping a low profile. Boring, but needed.
@cydney I might be stating the obvious here, but have you been trying to use the 'Upload a File' button? It doesn't work for me at all. I have to open the folder up on my pc, highlight the image, then drag it into the msg box. Doing it this way works for me every time. If you haven't tried it already, it might be worth a go.
Who knew? I just tired it, it let me drag and drop a thumbnail but not the full image. Then something weird happened with preview saying I didn't have permission to view it? And now it shows the image I started to use but deleted. And edit doesn't show that grey thumbnail at all. If you click on the flag though, it goes to the full image. Ignore that image, by the way, it was just a screenshot on my desktop. Click on the grey thing and you get a thumbnail on another page.
Now take your mouse and drag one of the attached files that show up at the bottom of your post onto the reply area of the post. For me anyway, it was a three step process. I dragged a screen shot off my desktop to the post, it showed up in an 'attached files' box like yours are. I was then able to drag the attached files into the actual post. That's why you see one of each in my post. You may have to do it in a new post. When I tried to edit my post, the attached files box doesn't appear in the edit box. Update, click on 'more options' in the edit box and you can choose thumbnail or full size image and delete attached files you decided not to use. I think I have the hang of it now. Wow, nice feature.
When a file has been attached it will, as you said, be visible below the post as an attachment. You don't need to drag the image into the post, though, since there are buttons for Thumbnail or Full Size next to it (which you also said). These buttons are always there, whether you click on more options or not (when creating a new post, at least).
