Spoiler: Hmmm Moody Decided to faff around with a photoshop type thingy for the first time in my life. Took my previous pic and added an eclipse. Very Millennium! But whatever. I'm clearly bored.
Went back to the Memorial today to try and catch a different angle + mood and I think I did it. I really like this photograph. It's the memorial of the monk holding the wreath to the heavens but from behind which makes him look like he's in contemplation amongst nature. Spoiler: Monk Memorial
I've got the same feeling. I only noticed this pic when going through the files. I do a lot of random shots when cycling through the modes. In that same Grave yard I had spied a beautiful Hawk last week. But today I spied a pair of Hawks sitting together ontop a cross. I moved in closer because i don't have a top zoom lens. Just using my standard lens for now. Got the shot lined up and had my finger over the button ** Dah Da daaaah daaah da da da daaaaaaah** Text message from work wanting to know how to silence the alarm...Hawks cut me a look and dived into the trees!
Spoiler: Just struck this off the bucket list Plenty more where that came from but don't want to bore. It was a good day out, planning on going somewhere tomorrow but don't know where. Tell you what though, if I win the lottery, I'ma live on a canal. Spoiler: Pegasus
This big Titan Halo has been giving me grief all day so I thought I'd call it out here while it's bitch ass is in the middle of a test it already failed 20 times today. And I thought I'd say hello too! Apologies for the shagginess. Spoiler: Big for Nothing Scope
Jumping in here.. I love when people share their pet pics. This is Athena. my baby girl. 13 years old, 13 pounds. If you look close enough you can see she's sticking her tongue out. And this is me in second life
The main point of this shot was the blue tarps patching the damage after the typhoon a couple years ago, but somehow I just like the way it shows my neighborhood.
Getting absolutely pounded at work and it has all but stalled my writing. I had planned to get back at this month but the drama at work is about to explode into a god damned spectacle for all to see. Unions, media, the works. It's going get dirty and as you can imagine its very stressful. I plan to get back on here and writing as soon as that nonsense is done and dusted. However, I have been continuing to take some time out and do little mini photoshoots here and there. Yesterday I visited Charleston and walked the Pilgrims road up to the old cathedral. I have something like 300 pics but I'll just share a handful here, hope you guys enjoy. I've missed interacting with everyone but hopefully you enjoy the pics. Spoiler: Charleston harbour. Spoiler: Again Spoiler: Ship wreck Spoiler: Rope Spoiler: Gravestones under an old tree Spoiler: Old cathedral Spoiler: Narrow street Spoiler: Lone boat Spoiler: Old Church Laters.
Thanks man, I'm trying to take photography seriously and learn with each shot I take. You've made me realize that isn't the shot I wanted to upload. Spoiler: Original Seriously what a nightmare. I'm trying to get as many decent pics together as I can before the weather turns and build a decent portfolio. Thanks for checking them out!
@Room with a view, your photos are so beautiful. I love the church--the light and shade in that photo is really magical. The first narrow road is probably my favorite. What camera do you use?
@Room with a view - the original is also a great pic but not quite as instantly gratifying as the first one you posted in error. You have a great eye for composition.
