I didn't even see it and I'd like to do the same. Thanks @Link the Writer , you're making it so much better Curious, does that qualify as a hostile work environment?
Nah, just another day. I work with some pretty weird lower class Deep Southern folks, half of them are rednecks.
TMW you are looking up something for a description, and find out along the way that a woman's body type can be spoon shaped. How weird is that? Not quite what I had in mind, but I will offer up this bit of oddity. Guess I can use this bit of odd insight for something in the future. "Don't you just love my gals bod? She is one sexy spoon."
I know it might end up giving offense, but some of those pictures are very subtle in the differences they purport to show. For example, I wouldn't think of the "hourglass" figure as an hourglass, the "top hourglass" looks much more like what I'd imagine if I were to read a written description. Don't need to go all Jessica Rabbit, but still.
Yes they are subtle in the variance on a few of them. Never planned to go Jessica Rabbit, just needed something realistic. And I found what I was looking for on the Oxford something or other site.
Drinking the morning tea, sipping it slightly and reading some news (I don't do that often). And this pops up, TMW reading it,
It's editors syndrome. No worries, we can cure it with...no...wait...don't think about it! Don't think about how poorly written her 65,000 texts were!
TMW... you realize that part of you ending plays out similar to the beginning of the book. MC is in the Woods/Jungle, MC is on Adventure/Forced Adventure, Same Centurion-Veteran comes to her Rescue/Retrieval, Returns home, With the only differences being, she's now an adult, a warrior, a Leader, and the book is near it's end. Even though there is still a few more things to do before the MC goes home and wrapping up the ending. But still. I found it kind of interesting though unintentional. . Edit: Oh yeah, the same Mercenary group from the start is there as well.
Having the MC "go home again" is, imo, really interesting to see when one considers how much the world and the character his/herself has grown/changed. Congrats on nearing the end!
Yeah, there is now a part of me that feels that this is a perfect stopping place since it ties in so well with the beginning., and most of the stuff after this moment is pretty routine: reunites with Husband, Finishes the War, returns home to family, resumes her role as leader, politics... politics... politics. . This is stuff the Reader can assume happens. and some of the other stuff I want to write is best left to lore (The Planet's history books) or retelling rather then going through it since it would be pretty boring,Unless you like reading about a group of monarchs sitting around a table, going over politics. And there are other ways for the story to be picked up, such as the MC's daughter. Edit: I would like an epilogue that goes into the "What's Next" which is all the boring Politics stuff that leads to an important reformation for my world. But most of that is retold.
This is what I love about this place. I can wonder the same damn thing but not have to ask because I know one of you will.
That moment your date drops her hair elastic behind your couch. She reaches back for it, and yelps. She pulls her arm out from behind the couch and her arm has a scratch on it. We both look to see the cause of the scratch on the back of the couch, a nail.. a staple perhaps.. No... That moment you realize your date just got scratched by... an old, dry booger.
Hopefully someone got on the horn to her ex before she even finished the press conference... ...which is a whooooooooole 'nother thing. (Who the hell thought that was a good idea?) edited, cause, dyslexic and quote tags...
He was on this dating website for millionaires: https://www.onluxy.com/ I'm unsure if the website needs better screening or Missestextsyou is also a millionaire. Side note: Websites for everything exist today. Holy banana.
Hahaha. When she said "I could just go be with my ex" I assume he's locked away in her basement. Or worse.
