TMW somebody sums up the solution to your troubles in a paragraph, and it sounds so simple that it makes you cry.

Hey, that can happen even with sighted people. Like how-to vids for computer programs with no voice-over and the cursor is flying around so fast you can't follow it and the video is useless.

Now that you're aware of the problem, would your future videos be enhanced if you supplied a narration/voice-over? For that matter, does YouTube have some audio thing sight-impaired people can click on, kind of like Closed Captioning for those who can't hear (or can't use the sound at the moment)? That'd be a cool feature.

(BTW, I doubt your videos are shit.)

    TMW...

...you song list jumps from "Toxic" by Britney Spears to "Shokubeni" by Dir en Grey.

I forgot just how much J-Rock and J-Metal I have in my playlist.

TMW you question the state of things, when bad movies and books
sell so well. Coupled with the thought that maybe writing a pile of
swiss shit cheese may be the way to success based on what is considered
good by general audience standards. So perhaps a good long story with
shit characters, a touch of urban fantasy, and more plot holes and thin
plot (fuck it no plot) will be the way to some sort of success as a writer.

To think that thought provoking and entertaining in a meaningful way
    was the way wrong direction.

(Oh well, off to BS a 'fan-fic' off of books I couldn't be bothered to read
cause you only get one option read the shit or write it, both is not an option.) :p

the funny thing is, the two stories i work extensively on are on Docs.
The one i accidentally didnt save was one that i occasionally go back to just to stay creative (if i get writers block on my current WIPS, i open older ones and work on those to keep up the writing momentum). Though it wasnt really important, it still irks me that i lost those pages....

TMW you have to provide written advice for a student who has missed so many lessons recently that you're actually a little fuzzy on exactly who they are...

My knives are so short-bladed and dull-edged that I need to stab the potatoes first in order to slice them. Sharpening has its limits. This post reminded me to put a knife in my things-to-buy list.

TMW you know for a fact that the way plugs are designed in the UK is better than what we use in North America (or most of Europe), but jinkies those things are monster big! I have an aversion to seeing plugs, wires, cables, etc., and will do anything I can to hide them behind things, and I can only imagine how much harder my no-plugs-visible neurosis would be to ameliorate in the UK vs where I live now. o_O

You would freak at the house I just bought. The original owner (who built the house) is an electrician, and had the house over-wired. That's great for guys like me, but it means there are outlets EVERYWHERE. Every room has at least twice as many outlets as I normally see in houses. It makes me want to go out an buy electrical stuff just to have things to plug in.

TMW you are in a chipper mood so you go onto Facebook and see a distressing video of a dog being squeezed to death by a snake (though luckily he was saved by his owners)

So now you're thinking, "I hereby allow the torture and mutilation of all snakes everywhere."

Just as an update on this. I did get them cooked in time, but only just! I went out with the last ones still warm in a pot of their own with the lid off to cool them. ;)

TMW you've got things to say and points to make but you lack the energy to deal with the idiocy you know will come as the response.
