    HOW DARE YOU!!!! >:[

I'll have you know that if we both were alive in 1861 and at our ages, you'd find me in the blue uniform marching with my brother-in-arms. What side would you be on?

TMW... You want to post something relevant to the thread, but can't think of anything to say.

I'm old enough that I remember being at Bull Run during the Civil War.

I was wondering what a Del Boy cocktail was for a moment, then it hit me. Aren't they just Cosmos, though?

Ah, don't worry. That was 150 years ago. Now, mention present-day politics and you'll likely find yourself in a spot of trouble.

I don't know. Do you remember the TV series? I'll look it up and report back. We call any cocktail which has bells and whistles as in, umbrellas, sparklers, tinsel etc and generally OTT 'Del Boy' They are loud, lethal and fun!

LOL, I'd noticed. I usually watch the debate pick the front runners and press like if I agree with their comments.

Haha. That's a good name for them, but I personally love them types of cocktails. I used to go to this cocktail bar in Liverpool called Palm Sugar. It was expensive, but the cocktails were to die for! I had an obsession with Cosmopolitans and Singapore Slings.

That moment when your sister-in-law posts on Facebook that she's going into labor and your mother-in-law then proceeds to call you a million times to guilt you into sitting at the hospital with her until the baby comes.......

I don't have any kids, so that's not relevant yet. ;)

As someone who has parents, I find this very, very offensive.

TMW the first link that pops up upon such a search produces an article that is refreshingly devoid of social lying. ;)

TMW you wonder why they bother putting "no sting formula" on anything anymore. Does anything that's over the counter still actually sting? When I was a kid it all stung. [IMG] Even the stuff that said "no sting" really meant "stings less".

They should just mark the ones that do sting, in case you want those. Fewer products would need to be labeled.

TMW, out of curiosity, you look at the very first thread created in the New Members Introduction subforum. It was created by Ebonyskies just about 9 years ago. That was his/her only post.

TMW you go to check this out and realise it is not true. The first thread in the sub-forum was a spam thread created on May 16, 1977, about Tour de France 2007, by a member who joined in 2013. Wait, what? :wtf:

I didn't include the thread from 1977 for obvious reasons. :p

You're telling me that the same person who came up with the name Ebonyskies is the same person who came up with the name 123456789? :superthink:
